Beautiful location and friendly staff. Less scent diffusers would be preferable, they are not allergy friendly and really not necessary in our opinion.

Very clean and design place amazing service amazing location only 40 minutes from Porto. A real paradise with the clean pool ! Cesar the owner is always there to help. We have a baby and stayed in an amazing room and had a lot of service. We loved it !!! The village is also amazing !

App troubles again!

Difficulties AGAIN contacting hotel, could not reply to their messages on app at all!!! So could not inform re checkin time but it went fine. Great site, hotel lovely, room well equipped though would prefer a sheet option (duvets too hot), a shelf in shower for bottles, and a coffee-maker in room or lounge! Breakfast coffee dreadful which is not normal in Portugal!!! and not until 8am.

Muy agradable.

Dos días muy agradables. La quinta se encuentra en un pueblo pequeñito a unas 15 min de Guimaraes. Tiene poquitas habitaciones decoradas con mucho gusto. El desayuno muy correcto para su categoría. El encargado muy amable y solícito. Todo muy limpio y relajante. Me ha encantado. Volveremos.

Local idílico

A cinco minutos de Vizela econtra-se esta quinta maravilhosa. Local ideal para descansar e apanhar banhos de sol junto da excelente piscina. O espaço surpreende pela sumptuosidade das áreas verdes, com arvores centenárias e uma plantação de kiwis. O acolhimento é excelente proporcionado pelo César, gestor do espaço, sempre preocupado com o nosso bem estar. Sentimo-nos verdadeiramente em casa. O quarto é muito amplo, com muita arrumação e com vista para a piscina. Sem duvida uma experiência maravilhosa a repetir.

Tivemos a sorte de ter o alojamento praticamente por nossa conta, tendo excelentes condições. O staff foi impecável, sempre disponíveis para tornar a nossa estadia mais agradável. Pena que pelas medidas anti covid-19 o sistema de ar condicionado estivesse desligado, o que em agosto é um pouco incómodo.

A true gem and so much more than a B&B

We are so glad we have found this little gem in Portugal’s North - we have almost instantly fallen in love with and will certainly return two. Less than an hour from Porto Airport and near to some of the regional cultural highlights (just 30 min to Braga and 20 min to Guimarães, Portugal’s Birthplace) it may not be the right place for families or fans of a loud and lively urban lifestyle but the perfect retreat for couples and for anyone interested in a peaceful place to relax and unwind. The perfect blend of modern amenities (including 5star hotel standard bathrooms) in a (perfectly restored) rustic old house is very appealing. And the nice pool (you can actually really swim in) as well as a wonderful garden with impressive (hundreds of years) old camellias trees as well orange- and lemon-trees are further assets of this excellent country home. And on top of all this you get the excellent service of César Maciel, the property manager and his young but promising trainee manager Alexander. This so much more than a B&B. Would you like a nice bottle of a typical regional (Vino Verde) Alvarinho in your room or a white Sangria (made with a very good Portuguese “Champagne”) at the Pool? Would you fancy a romantic three course dinner for two in the Camellias Garden? Just ask them, they will make it happen - in a nearly perfect fashion but at very reasonable price. Last but not least: The “Quinta das Lavandeiras” is spotlessly clean and carries the “Safe & Clean“ Seal.
