Good place to stop if you want to be close to Bilbao for ferry but not in the middle of a busy city. Plenty of parking. Breakfast had plenty of choice.

Basic clean hotel. Had accessible room for wheelchair user but not very good. Very tight access into bathroom. Disappointed with breakfast offerings. Hotel was pretty full and by 9am lots of breakfast items not replaced. Also ice machine out of order ( was the same two weeks earlier). Not very good in the hot weather.

Our trip to Spain

We stay at the Holiday Inn Express because it's in a very good location for our journey to southern Spain. The hotel is well run, clean and the staff are very helpful. The town of Vitoria is a short journey away about 5 mins where there is lots on offer. There is also plenty of parking outside the hotel. Overal good value for money

The hotel was clean and the staff very nice. Had a little trouble getting the a/c to work and there is an interesting feature of a frosted glass window to the bathroom so when someone gets up in the middle of the night the whole room wakes up with the light

comfortable & clean, with a fab breakfast!

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel, and we loved it as much as the 1st time. We stay overnight on our way home from southern spain, and it is just off the motorway, so not out of our way. Theres plenty of parking, and as i use a mobility scooter now, theres disabled parking and ramps to help to get yourself inside. The reception area is large, and this time we were met by Jane who was very efficient, and politeful and helpful. We were given the same room as before, which is a great help as it is the first room from the dining area. The rooms are large, clean, modern and most of all, comfortable! Breakfast is buffet style, although you can order a hot breakdast if you wish, but with the very large choice we didnt. Theres fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, toasts, breads, and an array of different jams, and also fresh cheeses and cold meats. Hot drinks are also available here too. Im usually not a buffet fan, but i love breakfast here, as everything is so fresh, in fact, i can not say anything against it! Thankyou once again for a great stay, and see you next year!

Avoid if you can.

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. No AC in room when required, got given a noisy fan instead. Their spring was like a UK summer so to hot in the room. Windows that only part open even though room temperature was to hot and air was needed. Once window was opened partially you have the noise from the kids running around outside as well as the smokers talking and the smell of smoke from outside the reception entrance. Get a room at the back. Room lighting atrocious. Fixtures are cheap and either falling apart or not fitted properly. Room Door looked like it had been kicked in. Originally booked 2 nights but cancelled 2nd night, so glad I did. Parking great. Staff are great and try to help as best they can but still no AC. I won’t be returning.

Vitoria Napoleonic reenactment weekend.

Hotel was easy to find and very well presented. Great to find a kettle and tea making facilities in room, just a little sparing with the milk though. Hotel reception was understaffed and took a long time to check in. Excellent restaurant and bar across the car park.
