"I really wanted to like this place. From the photos, it looks like a desert oasis. In reality? More like a “has potential, but no one’s checked on it since 2007” situation. Let’s start with the room… “Worn” would be generous. The carpet looked like it had lived a full and complicated life and was ready for retirement. The back of the toilet was cracked (always comforting), the shower was rough, and the tile work was a mix of broken and stained. Even the bedding had seen better days. The overall vibe was somewhere between “dated” and “this room has definitely hosted a few questionable life decisions.” Sleep situation (aka unexpected midnight entertainment): Our 11- and 12-year-olds took the hide-a-bed, which—surprise!—started folding up on them in the middle of the night. It was briefly funny in a “well, this is a story” kind of way, but less funny when you remember everyone has a long day ahead. Nothing like a mechanical failure to spice up your sleep. The water park… This was supposed to be the highlight. Unfortunately, it felt just as tired as the room. Our kids—who are normally all-in on anything involving water—lasted about an hour before calling it quits. That tells you everything you need to know. Also, the check-in process for the water park? A mystery. There’s signage… somewhere… theoretically. We didn’t see it, walked in like normal humans, and were immediately stopped by a staff member who was clearly not having her best day. "The pools were great! The highlight of the stay. "

"Staff all around was rude, unhelpful and impatient, especially the cashiers. Waited 20 minutes for an iron and almost one hour for other items and had to go to the front desk for them. The property is dated and the rooms were dark and musty. Kids had a mediocre time. Didn't try the food other than the dipping dots Late check out at 2pm is an additional $59.00 Wristbands used to open the gate out the parking lot don't work well. Lady at time share kiosk seemed more like a used car salesman First time there, will not go back to that property or any Great Wolf Lodge"

"We were upgraded and the suite was wonderful. "

"Pool area was really only cleaned up once a day. Old towles piled up and any beverages that were deliverd/ left, sat around all day. The towles were not replaced during the day."

"Really cute and clean roooms as well as beautiful common areas. Bar and restaurant were good and stayed busy. The spa was a highlight of the trip with excellent services and staff. It was a little bit of a challenge to get a pool chair so I recommend getting there early. By lunch time there were a lot of chairs being "saved" with towels/shoes etc with no one using them for hours adding some sort of policy around this would improve the experience. Overall loved the hotel and would come back again in a heartbeat."

"The property is very beautiful, however, the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors talk, kids, doors slam, etc. Same for the cleaning ladies, they start early and it’s very noisy due to the thin walls. Having said all that. We do want to stay here again next year. Just have the expectation that it’s not quiet/peaceful. "
