The annexe where we stayed was beautifully clean and comfortable. Older patrons or people with mobility issues need to be aware that there are three flights of stairs to be climbed (with luggage) in order to get to some of the annexe rooms.

Charming apartment in a charming town

We stayed in their apartment, and it was very spacious, well-maintained despite being a bit dated, and full of character with its charming architecture. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the old town. We were initially concerned about noise at night, but it became quiet around 11:00 PM every evening. The breakfast was delicious, although it lacked daily variety. It was a classic European breakfast with no hot items except for a make-your-own waffle station.

We missed a TV, it could be anormal size, but there was none. We like very much how friendly and flexible are the entire Hotel personnel is, in any case. The breakfast was also fine and very huge sortiment.

Great spot

Wonderful three-night stay in one of their annex apartments. The space was very nice, quiet and well-lit. (We had no upstairs neighbors during our offseason stay.) Staff was helpful and friendly in every interaction, and breakfast was excellent—really increased our sense of value. Location is in the old city and a short walk to sights within the walls, with a couple of grocery stores and more not far outside the walls.

Very spacious apartment in city center

We stayed in the annex apartment with 3 bedrooms and a huge living room. Only one shower though. Right on the center shopping street with restaurants so can be noisy with people and cars. You must take stairs to the first level. Breakfast is in the main building down the street.

Great place in the heart of Visby

Great place for visiting Visby. Very central location but in a relatively quiet part of the town (not the main party area) so no disturbances. The rooms are also located a bit from the street, which also helps. Small and familiar hotel, nice and friendly staff, breakfast ok, everything you really need is available and at least for me nothing’s really missing. Wifi stable and fast, beds comfortable, slightly warm in the room, no air condition, only a small fan available in the room. In the single room where I stayed, the bathroom is very limited in size and it’s almost impossible to take a shower and keep the floor dry… All in all a very nice and price worthy hotel in Visby, just a few minutes walk from the harbour or from the bus station and close to shopping, restaurant and bars. Very limited parking possibilities really close to the hotel, but convenient parking places a few hundred meters away.

Rummet var dåligt städat. Badrummet kända ofräscht med mycket smutsiga fogar i duschen. Skräp från tidigare gäster fanns också kvar i ett nattduksbord samt soptunnan i badrummet var ej tömd. Om det finns något att göra åt det så hade bättre ljudisolering från innergården gjort sömnkvaliteten betydligt bättre.

Enkelt mrn mycket fint hotell med bra läge innanför muren. Jättefin innergård. Fråsh frukost med det mesta trots att den inte var så stor. Enda minus var att hundrum kostade extra, inte van vid det. Skulle gärna besöka hotellet igen.

El hotel tiene un encanto particular. Es como un conjunto de casitas unifamiliares con un patio de acceso común. Nuestro apartamento era muy espacioso y luminoso. I STORT behov av renovering.

Vårt rum var i stort behov av renovering. Slitna golv och väggar, fläckar i taket. Smutsiga otrevliga fogar i badrummet. Kaklet i badrummet hade dock istället målats, kanske när det såg allt för illa ut? Hade önskat dubbelsäng, men fick två ihopsatta enkelsängar. Positivt var att sängkläder och handdukar var i både bra skick och rena.
