Gorgeous property within the old city walls. Easy to walk to restaurants, stores, and attractions. Breakfast and pool/ spa were fantastic l. Stayed in winter, was very quiet, I assume it is busier in summer. Booked a family room with bunk bed, loved having the extra space and privacy.

We enjoyed the sauna and pool, even though pool’s water was cool. Great location, great room. We heard lots of music from outside. For us it was positive and we let the window open. This hotel is good for short or longer stay.

Great stay in Gotland

Place was great. Located perfectly within the fort walls of Visby. Able to walk to most everything. You can rent bikes also from them. Staff was wonderful, so friendly and helpful.

The hotel is about 1.5 k from the ferry. Book a taxi ahead of arrival, otherwise you'll have to complete the 'refugee walk' along coble stone streets. The hotel is a bit of a labarynth spread between 2 buildings. My room did not have elevator access. I had to traverse 2 spiral stair cases with all of our luggage to get to the room. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this hotel. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Our room was very comfortable from the beds to the nice sofa. The bathroom was spotless and in excellent repair. The heated floors were a bonus! We both loved the breakfast, which had a wide assortment of many local products. It’s fun knowing we are supporting the local farmers. The location of this hotel was perfect, with quick access to everything we wanted to see and do. It was just maybe a 3-minute walk to the Baltic Sea. Walking to Stora Torget took under 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was not easy to find in the dark after your ferry arrives late. That said, we had a very helpful woman desk clerk who helped us get checked in late. The rooms are quite small, even smaller than what one finds in Swedish hotels. Parking was good, in several places, but it worked out for us. Food in the restaurant was very good, as was breakfast. So overall, a good experience for us in Visby at this hotel.

On the other hand, the room didn't seem that clean, there was a smell like of being old and not ventilated and the bathroom was outdated with not much water pressure. The indoor pool was small and had cold water so it was neither for swimming nor relaxing.

Good hotel in good location

Stayed in a family room which distinctly smaller than the photos on booking site. Stayed in July when the room was very hot - no a/c. Decent condition of the room. We really enjoyed the swimming pool / relax area and excellent breakfast. Good location with easy walking distance to sights in Visby old town and close to the sea front. Parking was not included and rather expensive.

I’d come back for sure!

Friendly and welcoming staff, great location and some rooms have ocean views. I was lucky to get such a room, a nice single with a cozy atmosphere too. Very close to elevator and staircase and no soundproof doors. All in all I would stay again.
