I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised! The outside may need a little work but the room was up to date, modern, clean and cozy. I’d definitely stay here again. It’s a perfect place to stay while up north for winter sports. There is a town 1.8 miles away, with Target, fast food and nicer restaurants.

Excellent, quiet, safe, ample parking, convenience, nearby shops and amenities, the staff was friendly, professional and helpful, I called ahead and arrived past office hours, I had asked if any stores would be open in the area. The woman behind the counter left my key in an envelope for me with a note listing all of the stores in the area that were open with phone numbers! I definitely will stay here in the future, the price was the best in the area as well!

Not for couples or families.
This would have been an excellent stay for work or solo but as a couple, there is little soundproofing and the gentleman next to us, we could hear him and the TV as if we were in the room. Moreover, our bed and pillows were very comfortable but the bed was very noisy when you move around, so this being our anniversary trip, it caused us to skip the primary activity we had hoped to complete. The room was very, very, clean and smelled neutral, the staff was friendly and informative, the room was very bright with the lights all the way up, and the shades gave us privacy despite in being rather busy on this Saturday. All the little things were ticked like extra shampoo for a stay of two, the coffee maker ready to go with extra coffee and cups, and lots of towels.

Room was spacious and very clean. Lack of shampoo & hair dryer was problematic. Did not expect that in a motel. One of the beds was great; the other squeaked loudly with any movement. Full size refrigerator. No issues with check-in and check-out. Would recommend - with knowing the lack of some amenities ahead of time.

We do keep a number of blow dryers available to lodgers in the office. Give us a call by dialing 0 on the house phone The shampoo is an oversight, and will be addressed. Some one is available to our visitors 24/7 just dial 0 on the house phone and we will be happy to accommodate you. Thank you again, it is important to address all issues that arise.

This is a small, no-frills operation, but it is clean and comfortable at a great price. My room had a large TV, small table and two chairs, microwave and mini-fridge. The bathroom/shower looked like it had recently been remodeled. Set at a distance from the main highway, it was quiet for a restful night. The only glitch was that the shower faucet had the hot/cold settings reversed from most other fixtures. It took a while to realize that hot was to the right and cold was to the left! A minor issue, I would gladly stay here again when I'm in the area.

Property seems relatively recently remodeled. Very clean, easy parking, nice rooms for the price. Impressed. Checking in was perfect with a friendly staff person.

My Trip Down Memory Lane was disappointing
I stayed here about 15 years ago for a dog trial. Many of us did and the place was always full. Saturday night I was the only one from the dog trial. There were some families that did check in that obviously had been fishing. The bathroom floor needs a deep clean, the carpet looked clean but felt stiff. The linens were clean which is the main thing. But there was an underlying smell I could not identify, and I woke up with my allergies in full bloom and congested. The girl at the front desk who checked me in was nice.

Surprise inside
We drove up and said" OK not many choices, it'll have to do". But, when we got to the room, it was very recently upgraded. Great job! Excellent condition. This is a casual, comfortable motel. I rated it high for that category.

Planning on using the sauna? Ask details
Just stayed one night. Room was very clean. Bed was not that comfortable. But it can be for other. Listing mentioned a sauna. When I asked about it I was told they have a sauna in the basement, they needed 30 minutes notice to turn it on and they would give me the key for it. I was hoping to do a sauna later that night but since depending on office stuff availability, the time to plan ahead to get it ready, and the location, I did not feel comfortable doing it.

We are currently renovating rooms and this helps us make necessary changes to make our customer's stay more comfortable. Our sauna is located in the basement and we do have to turn it on from the office and provide keys for entry. It is private and not for use for multiple guests unless person reserving use allows it. It takes about 30 minutes to warm up. We do shut it down at 10 pm when the office closes to ensure the doors are secure for safety purposes. Again, thank you for your feedback.

This place is actually very nice for the money. The maid service each day is great. Fresh towels and clean room. The place itself is old but the beds are ok and the water is hot. If on a budget I’d stay here again for sure. I did not have any issues with it personally.

It’s a pretty standard motel/roadside inn. Staff were great, both at the front desk and cleaning service. Property is a bit rough around the edges, which is fine, but the mattresses on the beds were old and saggy which affected sleep. Overall about what one would expect from an inexpensive motel.

Very interesting how we received rave reviews from you when you stayed earlier. You also returned 7 more times. Your stay was horrible because of you. I had to break up a fist fight in the parking lot, because of you. The police had to be called, because of you! You and your partner in crime were removed because of you! You know which crimes I speak of. Thank you for leaving us the review, it gives the public a chance to see what we will not tolerate.
