  • If you have already visited Trakai Castle, you must have noticed the white building across the lake looking like a white swan. Užutrakis manor house is a French style inspired château and if someone had said we were in France, I wouldn‘t have blinked even for a second believing it to be true. The estate is really exquisite offering the views of Trakai Castle and the surrounding scenery. It also contains a park created by Édouard François André, a famous French landscape architect. We were told that the estate‘s Soviet history was quite tough, but today Užutrukis manor house has reemerged as the prime example of the noble life in Lithuania that is accessible to public. If you are lucky, you may even find yourself in the audience during the concert of classical music here – an experience not to be missed!

Nice resort very close to Vilnius. The lake around the resort makes this a special place. We did really enjoy the Spa and the lake. unfortunately some of the restaurants were closed and it felt a bit like not all activities were available. it was a midweek stay in July, so that might have something to do with it. However, it also meant that there was ample space at the lake.

Good experience, with room for improvement

The location is simply amazing. Service is very good. Restaurant, food and choise of wines is excellent. Nevertheless there are some things that make this Hotel less convinient. Parking is far away from the building. A problem especially if it is raining. Checkin and checkout procedures are too long. Finish of the buildings leaves a bit for improvement.

Fantastic setting on the lake, spacious room that was well equipped and with premium Molton Brown toiletries, great service from the staff and a wonderful range of amenities including two bowling lanes! Pricy for the country but it is a premium experience - I was expecting a little more from the spa in the way of additional saunas, etc.

Excellent place for quiet and calm relaxation. Ideal location near spectacular nature views with perfect privacy! Excellent service and really kind, welcoming and helpful staff. The grounds & the lake are amazing. A little pricey but reasonable in a way. Found some problems on our room which is 201. Some lights are not working & the woodwork on the floor is broken. We have to inform the reception as they expect you should be doing anyway. As a 5-star hotel, I would expect a topnotch room & the TV is so small on a room like that. Nevertheless, the grounds are impressive. I will still want to go back & the breakfast is superb.

LOVED it!!!!!

Fabulous place. A little pricey but worth it to us as we got an upgraded room. Room was beautiful with a gorgeous view of the lake. Grounds were fabulous. Restaurant was pricey but excellent. They have a game room with a bowling alley among a lot of other things. Indoor pool was beautiful. The gym had really good equipment which is rare when u r traveling. The breakfast was stunning in a room with a beautiful view of the lake. Overall -- we LOVED it!

Hotellet ligger vackert vid en sjö. Perfekt för avkoppling. Själva området är inte så stort så vi tog det mest lugnt inne på spa:t, som var litet men de har många bra behandlingar. God mat i den restaurang som var öppen. Vi saknade dock möjlighet att äta mellanmål.

A Perfect Place for a Romantic Getaway

We had one of the best weekend getaways in Esperanza. It's located in a very picturesque area by a lake and surrounded with a forest. The room was spacious, had nice windows with a view, fantastic amenities and comfortable bed. Hotel is well equipped for activities all year around - cross-country skying in Winter, boating on the lake during warmer seasons, cycling etc. Spa access was included and offered a really relaxing time with a big pool and various saunas. Breakfast buffet was amazing with a great variety of fresh and organic local and international cuisine. AS hotel is pretty secluded, the only dinner option is the hotel restaurant - while it offers a great quality and service, it's quite pricey for what you're getting and menu might seem limited, if you're not into seafood. Across the whole complex staff is super friendly and helpful, offering a late checkout and a free transfer to/from Vilnius. Overall, highly recommend for a peaceful and romantic weekend getaway.

Fantastic stay at IDW Esperanza

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the hotel was immaculately kept and the facilities were amazing. The spa was beautiful and very well kept and we enjoyed fishing and boating on the lake, along with the use of the indoor leisure facilities such as the bowling lanes. The shuttle to the airport was a lovely, relaxing round off to a great stay. The only thing that I would change about the hotel is to offer some lower priced 'snack type' lunch foods, as the restaurants were fantastic and the food was well worth the money, but sometimes on a relaxing break less formal dining would be great (and easier on the wallet).

Vacances d hiver au bord d un lac gelé, dans une foret enneigée. Pure Luxury & Indulgence

It's pure sin - in terms of luxury & indulgence - nature, side walk , location , service , food , wine , spa , outdoor sports facility etc etc etc . One of the best location of Vilnius middle of the village , extremely courteous and helpful staff specially at reception and Russian bathhouse , always one step ahead of your need. Very well appointed rooms with sky gazing in the night thru glass roof & lake / forest in day time . Serenity around the lake and beautiful pine forest puts in you a such a cozy atmosphere that you will simply fall for it . Wish could have extended my vacation for couple of days . Property suits for all age , type of traveller - but for pure relaxation .
