"We love historic properties, so this one fit the bill. Many films made at this location, and the rooms are all labeled with which famous people have stayed in them. Beautiful old hotel. You have to be okay with creaky floors and a bit of dustiness (It's 140 years old).
The only problem is the restaurant. It opened late and closed early, so we never got to try it. There's almost nothing open on a Sunday evening in Las Vegas, NM, so that's an issue. Restaurant staff (understaffed) arrived late to open on Monday morning, so we had to skip it.
But a fun place to stay if you like history."
"This was a very nice little motel for the price that we paid. Staff was very friendly and assisted us in getting checked in a little early. Rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside would be that we were located on a main street And the traffic outside was a little noisy at times. "
"The hotel does not look like much from the outside, but my room was very large, clean and comfortable. It's near a noisy intersection, but it quieted down somewhat during the night. The hotel was definitely worth the price! I would stay there again. "
