「We arrived late at the hotel but were met by very friendly staff who were only too pleased to explain where all the amenities were in the area.」

We could not use the A/C since entire hotel was still on heat and we were told that the hotel was either one or the other. Being 25 celcius out, couldn’t understand why the heat would still be running. Staff seemed pre-occupied and not particularly motivated to help. Property also understaffed. 「On n’y parle QUE l’anglais, même et surtout à la réception, chose qui n’arrange pas tout le monde, mais un peu de soin dans les chambres serait le bienvenu, trop de laisser-aller, prises hors service, et aucune dans la salle de bains, garde-robes portes coincées, pas de miroir, mais sans gravité vu que j’y suis retourné et y retournerai encore!」

「Bar was not open during our stay. WiFi was excellent. Room was spacious and very clean and bathroom was lovely. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was at the bar nextdoor and was what I always have, toast with tomatoes, coffee (very good) and juice. The friendly barman knew our order by the next day. 」

「Air conditioning didn't work. Internet didn't work. Woke up to bugs on the bed and all over the desk. Got another room for the next day. Air conditioning worked great, still no internet and still bugs. Nowhere near as many but 1 bug is too many. Nice lobby and pool don't do it for me if I have bugs in my room.」
