The pool area is stunning but there is not much around you have to walk down a long steep hill just for a shop so if you want to be close to shops bars ect this wouldnt be a great place to stay especially if you dont like walking in the heat! "The rooms were not equipped , seriously how can you not have bottled water in the fridge when it’s 38 degree Celsius outside for your guest on arrival , tea and coffee facility was zero no coffee no tea bags .. we where on our honeymoon, we requested a double bed and got two single beds , I speak Greek and of course it was the ole I don’t care attitude and yes you have a lovely room ! NOT THE CASE … the property is dated old and the rooms need a major facelift as do does the service.."

"Our host was very welcoming, helped us with luggage and showed us around as needed. Such a beautiful, simple luxurious accomodation and incredible breakfast brought to the room each morning. Plenty to do and enjoy relaxing, friendly town. Would gladly come back!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sami Beach Hotel. We’d booked 3 nights at the hotel but ended up staying for 10 nights as we were massively let down by the villa owner on the day of arrival in Kefalonia (we’d booked 5 months prior). Caroline on reception and owner Spiro couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely family run hotel. 20 minutes walk to supermarket and restaurants on the seafront. However the restaurant in the square, few minutes walk is very good and great atmosphere. Would suggest a car to explore other beaches. Alternatively “Hop On” boat hire just by the hotel is run by a nice couple so you can explore the coast and go to beaches than cars are unable to. Would recommend this hotel to friends & family. "

"Located a few minutes drive from the airport, with impressive 180 degree views over the ocean and airport. Have an aerial view of planes landing and taking off. Due to the height of the hotel, there is no issue with noise. The pool is one of the best. A decent length and width. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and spacious, the only small negative was that they smell a little musty."
