"Check-in took some time as there was an elderly couple in charge that seemed more interested in watching TV. The rooms were OK and you could get a beer of coffee at the bar, but that was it. Restaurant not open for evening meal or breakfast. I think we were the only guests, so the place was very quiet. Luckily the local town had many facilities that we used for eating & socialising. "The hotel is situated in a converted historic monastery in a commanding position above the town and is quite unique. My wife and I had a very enjoyable one-night stay here as part of a driving tour of Galicia, finding it very clean and comfortable with good levels of service. The only issue we had was that as my wife is confined to a wheelchair with only one leg, we could only access the hotel via a back tradesman’s entrance and service lift as the disabled lift at the front door was not working, which was very disappointing."
