Great nature, outdated hotel

Surroundings of the manor are amazing but the rooms thensleves are very outdated and the hotel with its lack of amenities is more of a 3 star hotel at best. Breakfast was ok.

Exquisite

This is a huge complex that is that big that the reception provides a map for you to get around! I can see why this is usually an expensive stay but we got a good weekday deal. The room had a nice view of the stream but the room isn’t the main draw. There is included facilities such as swimming pool, 2 jacuzzis and 4 different saunas. In the grounds there is a garden, lakes with bridges, car museum, windmill, vodka museum, water mill museum and nature walks. There are paid add ons such as spa treatments. There are 2 restaurants plus a bar and a cafe. The breakfast was extremely plentiful with far too many hot and cold options to list. The parking is free and there is no other way to arrive but by car.

Vanhemmat ja lapsi kesälomareissulla

Upea kartano rakennuksineen ja ympäristöineen. Huone oli iso ja hieno, parisänky hyvä, mutta lapsen lisävuoteessa petauspatja olisi ollut paikallaan. Kiva kylpylä ja museoita, joissa sai käydä ilmaiseksi. Myös jotain eläimiä oli farmilla nähtävissä. Pelasimme myös kierroksen mini golfia, mutta kenttä olisi kaivannut kunnostamista. Aamupalan lisäksi illallisilla testattiin molemmat ravintolat. Ruoka keskivertoa, olisin ehkä odottanut enemmän.

Très joli manoir mais prestations faiblardes

Très beau manoir avec son étang, son domaine et de nombreux bâtiments patrimoniaux. L’hôtel est correct, sans plus. Certaines chambres gagneraient à bénéficier d’un sérieux rafraîchissement, et de voir leur équipement amélioré (pression aléatoire de l’eau, pas de kleenex, pas de minibar, pas de ménage pendant tout le séjour sauf demande à la réception -sous couvert de l’environnement bien sûr-, pas de savonnette…). Le petit-déjeuner est correct, sans plus (pas d’eau ni de jus de fruits, pas de salade de fruits, café très moyen, et un unique CD de musique d’ambiance qui tourne en boucle du petit-déjeuner au dîner…). Malgré tout, le charme du manoir et son environnement très joli rendent le séjour agréable.

Das Haus lässt mehr vermuten, als es halten kann. Die Räume sind o.k., mehr aber auch nicht. Das Frühstück ist leider schlecht.... dabei mangelt es nicht nur an der Auswahl der Angebote ...Der Kaffee ist ne glatte "6". Das Personal allgemein und nicht gerade "GastFreundlich".... hier ist viel Luft nach oben.

Really disappointed: Found a piece of iron in my breakfast food but the personnel did not understand my concern (sketchy English). Cleanliness of the room was far from perfect (forgotten dirty T-shirt from a previous guest and half extra empty shampoo bottle on the floor). On the bright side : Nice building, nice park, decent food. Regarding social distancing: rules are written down but nobody cares.

Upea kartano luonnonpuistossa

Kartano on upeasti kunnostettu, omalla, hienolla puistoalueellaan. Palvelu kaikkineen oli hyvin ystävällistä ja palveluja oli hyvin, mk ravintolat, pyörä- ja venevuokraus- ja spa-palvelut ja oma mini-golfrata. Päärakennuksessa tarjoiltava aamiainen oli runsas ja muut ravintolapalvelut laadukkaita. Ranta on n. 15 minuutin pyöräilymatkan päässä läpi kauniin luonnonpuiston. Mielelläni kävisin Vihulassa uudestaan, kiitos. =)

Peaceful and well situated

The hotel was well situated if you want to explore the countryside. Rooms were clean and peaceful. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. However, we were disappointed that the swimming pool was not available. Also there was only one restaurant operating at the premises. Service at the restaurant was however very friendly. Enjoyed our stay.

Kaunis kartanohotelli upealla paikalla maaseudulla. Hyvin hoidettu kaunis puutarha, unique hotellille tyypilliset puitteet ja huoneet. Koronatilanteen vuoksi uima-allas ja hotellin pääravintola oli kiinni, mutta minkäs teet. Tavernasta sai ihan ok ruokaa illalla ja aamiainen oli hyvä. Hiljaista ja rauhallista oli.

Впечатления самые положительные. Место- просто райское. Тишина, красота и умиротворение. Персонал отеля очень общительный, всегда готовы помочь. кухня в ресторане на ужине просто сказочная, пальчики оближешь) завтрак по системе шведского стола выше всяких похвал, и каши, и мясо, и рыбка, кофе- все свежайшее.

Hieno rakennus, mahtavat ulkoilumaastot ja hyvä aamiainen. Ainoa miinus siitä että matkustimme koiran kanssa ja huoneen ovessa oli lähtöpäivänä aamiaisella ollessamme kyltti että sisään ei saa mennä, siitä huolimatta siivooja yritti huoneeseen ja hermostutti koiran

This property gets very mixed reviews from me. Check in was very easy and the receptionist was very informative. However, when we got to our room, which was located in an out-building of the manor, it had a horrible stench. We called reception to report this and ask for another room and were told there wasn’t another room available. They sent housekeeping to examine the issue and housekeeping was unable to find a source. This all occurred with great difficulty because the housekeeping staff did not speak any English and I did not speak fluent Russian or Estonian. After much back-and-forth with reception, including us re-loading our bags in our vehicle and driving back to the main manor house, we were finally given another room. This was a satisfactory resolution to the problem, but I felt that we had been given inaccurate information when they told us initially there was not another room available. This was especially frustrating because we checked in at the dinner hour and spent roughly an hour trying to resolve this problem instead of enjoying our evening. This property bills themselves as a luxury resort, but a real luxury resort would have sent someone with a key who could fix the problem and not made us go through so many steps to get a room without a bad smell. On a positive note, the breakfast that was included as part of the room price was absolutely fabulous with a wide variety of choices. And, once settled, our room was very comfortable.

Nos gustó todo, las habitaciones son comodisimas, el entorno inigualable y la comida muy buena. Tanto el desayuno como la cena en el restaurante y la comida en la taberna estuvieron de maravilla. Estuvimos dos noches pero nos hubiéramos quedado más con mucho gusto. Lo recomendaremos.
