Basic hotel middle of nowhere

Stayed here few times. Always shower room has issues as its ceiling is broken, fan is dirty and difficult to maintain the water temperature. Water pressure is OK. Some room have shower curtain or glass enclosure but some don’t but anyhow expect the floor will be wet. Sink has cold water only. Cockroach issue persists and one time it was crawling on my pillow. Some rooms on 4th or lower floor of north side does not have windows so be careful. Wifi is slow and disconnects often so I recommend buying SIM card at the airport. Some AC is weak or makes big noise so check upon check-in. TV has bad reception and almost always it has noise. Room has hairdryer bus sometimes its broken. Check before using as it can cause fire. No fire alarm in the room. Headboard is dirty so don’t touch. Employee wipes floor everyday so floor cleanness is OK but they don’t change linens. Mini fridge, table is OK but many times chairs are broken so be careful so you won’t get hurt. the door is thin so bring earplugs. Breakfast is reasonable they start serving from 6:30AM. Two complementary bottle of water per night, a shampoo, a small soap and a body wash. No tissues but a toilet roll. There is nothing to see in this area and only few local restaurants so check is you are OK with this. In my opinion, based on the standard of Laos, and to be fair, this is a ‘Holiday Inn Express’ but not ‘Motel6 or 8’ or ‘Red roof inn’’ nor ‘Hilton’ or ‘Hyatt’

毎日の部屋の清掃、アメニティの補充が丁寧で良好。清掃スタッフは本当に感じが良い方でした。 朝食は最初から冷たいのは残念、 電子レンジが必要です。パンはスタッフが焼いてくれるので温かいです。

フロントでは、ホテルズドットコムでは予約が無いと言われます。同じグループ会社よエクスペディアとして予約が入っていますので、その旨を説明しないとチェックインに手こずります。 ホテルの部屋自体は他の口コミほどひどくは無く、値段相応と思います。

値段分の価値は充分に

清潔感やサービスのレベルは値段を考えれば相応かと思います。歯ブラシなどのアメニティも標準装備、部屋の鍵もカードキーと少しずつ進歩してるようです。 朝食も美味しくはないけど、この値段ですからね。コーヒーが薄かった… 周りには何もないと言われていますが、ちょっと食事したり、アルコール購入したりする店もあります。 ビエンチャン観光の拠点としては微妙ですが、タイのビザか夜の方が目的であれば充分なコストパフォーマンスではないでしょうか。

目的が一致していれば有意義なホテル

街の中心部から外れており、買い物に便利なタラートサオまで徒歩で25分ほどかかります。 近くにレンタルバイク店等も存在しませんが裏に広い駐車場がありますので、あらかじめレンタルバイクを手配してから来たほうが良いかもしれません。

ラオスらしいスローな対応。設備は必要十分。

中心部からは少し離れています。 私は歩くのが苦ではないので、空港往復以外は全て歩いて観光しました。 ホテルの設備は特に問題ありません。 シャワーヘッドが壊れていましたが、お願いしたら交換してくれました。 5日の滞在でしたが、ちょくちょくタオルやシャンプーが補充されてない事があり、その都度指摘せねばなりませんでした。 スタッフもみな良い感じでしたが、のんびりしていて対応は遅いです。 まさにラオスらしいといえばラオスらしい。

寝るだけならと割り切ったが、蚊に悩まされたうえ。。。

１月２３-２６日（土－火）の３泊宿泊、ラオスもビエンチャンも初めて。なので、ここではこれが当たり前なのかもしれないが、以下、事実そのまま。 空港からタクシーで２０分程度（６６００KIP、USD８）、花屋とバイク屋の多い一帯で、歩ける周囲に観光名所や土産物屋はみあたらない。コンビニやスーパーもないが、雑貨屋や食料品店があるので、日中のちょっとした買い物には困らない。数件あるローカルレストランのメニューや価格は現地語だった。いずれも夜９時までの営業。周囲に（おそらく同等クラスの）ホテルが数件あり、昼間は周辺にトクトクがたむろしていたが、夜９時を過ぎると閑散とする。一杯やろうにも路脇で飲んで騒いでいる現地人に混ざるほかは、場所がない。 フロントロビーは薄暗くてあまり気持ちよくない（写真参照）。柱時計が二個かけてあったが、いずれも壊れていて、何のための時計なんだかわからない。フロントの担当者は無愛想。たまたまかもしれないが、必要なときにはいつもいない（特に日中はあまり見かけない）。他の従業員が英語を話さないので、フロントがいないと、何かを頼もうにも頼みようがなかった。 今回の部屋は１階、一人で寝るには十分な広さ。エレベーターとフロントに近かったからか、昼夜を問わず騒音がひどかった。１Fは宴会場になっている。何かの催しにたまたまあたってしまったらしく、昼前からカラオケががんがん響いて朝寝を楽しむことさえできなかった。１階だったからか、夜は蚊に悩まされた。頼んで殺虫剤をスプレーしてもらったが、翌日夜はまた蚊に悩まされて、結果、毎晩来てもらう羽目に。 部屋の照明のスイッチは入り口にあるだけ（ベッドサイドにはない）ので、いちいち消しにいくのが面倒。空調はクーラーのみ。１月末の寒い日で、雨も降っていたので、暖房が欲しかった。TVのリモコンが使えないので電池を取り替えてもらったが、やはり使えなかった。後ほど、TV自体が壊れていたことが判明。スタンドランプも壊れていて役に立たず。インターネットは、時々つながるが、使いたいときにいつでもつながるというわけではなかった。 浴室はシャワーのみ（お湯はちゃんと出た）が浴槽はない。バスタオルのみで、手ぬぐいやハンドタオルはない。かみそりがないので、もらおうと思ったが、用意がないので外で買ってくれといわれた。 冷蔵庫、カップ麺と袋菓子が置いてあり、冷蔵庫の飲料と共に有料とのことだったが、価格表がないので、価格が不明。ポットやお茶、コーヒー等はなし。カップ麺はどうやって食べるのか聞いたら、湯沸し用のポットを別途貸し出してくれた。ところが、貸してくれたぽっとがまたこわれていて。もういいや。。。水は５００MLのボトル２本無料（毎日）。 朝食は、４階のレストランでローカル料理のバッフエ、朝９時まで。９時少し前に行ったら、料理はすべて冷めていたし、いかにも残りという印象（写真参照）。早目の朝食をお勧めする。２日目のラインナップを見て、まさかと思っていたが、３日目もほぼ同じ料理が並んでいた（使いまわしか？）。 ホテル使用の手引き（館内案内の冊子）がない。電話番号や各種サービス（洗濯やルームサービス）があるんだかないんだか、さっぱりわからなかった。非常出口表示や避難経路図も、どこにもなかったので、安全対策上、少々不安。 帰りは空港まで、タクシーなら１２５００KIP（来るときの倍額）、トクトクなら８０００KIP。前日夜に、ホテル前にたむろしているトクトクドライバーに予約したが、約束の時間になっても現れなかった。運よく流しがつかまったが過信はきんｍ

少々不便なところにあります・・・

カーテンは飾ってあるけどその先に窓のない部屋でした。朝は、目覚ましをかけないと寝過ごしそうです。 中心部までは離れていて、宿にレンタサイクルがなく、足は不便です。 朝食バイキングは、たまに品切れしていても、補充はありました。 古い割には、部屋は新しいカードキーです。日本語放送を見ることができました。
