If I have to describe this hotel in one sentence: absolutely awful staffs but hotel itself is decent for the price. I travel Europe quite often for pleasure; France, Belgium, and Netherlands mostly. Pretty much my first time in vienna. I stayed in hotels from 3-5 stars. I understand that property or amenities can be bit different from what they stated on the website but it’s always the staffs who make your experience more pleasant. This place, however, I simply don’t understand why they are in hospitality industry in the first place. Starting from my checkin, I didn’t get my VIP access when it clearly said it on my confirmation email. Hotel receptionist didn’t even want to check my email and merely insisting, “My system says nothing so I can’t.” I believe that proper way would be, they ask me to wait and they check and follow up on me later, but they just said no instead: what a way to treat their guests. A complimentary water bottle is once per stay here, most of the hotels I stayed were once per night, so I went down and asked. Hotel receptionist who were in her duty around 22h-23h couldn’t speak English very well (can be frustrating but they don’t have to speak English fluently it’s ok). She didn’t know the difference between once per night/day and once per stay. The problem here was her attitude her, surprise! Although she was wrong, the way of her tone was rather “patronizing” the guest, who would appreciate this kind of attitude? Will never come back this place.
