I travel a lot and I'd say the Canaletto Suites was the best place I've ever stayed - a spacious, tasteful, and immaculate apartment in the most desirable location in Venice.

This place and the views are amazing!!! This room couldn’t have been more perfect for a view of San Marco basilica and the square. Just wow! And the breakfast is brought to you every morning and set up in your room.

Amazing apartment!!!! We were so impressed with our stay. For one thing, the location is so close to San Marco, you literally open your window to see St Mark’s Bascilica. Very high quality furnishings and breakfast is served in your apartment every morning. We enjoyed this location very much. The staff was exceptionally responsive as well.

Amazing to wake up and look out the windows and see the San Marcos Square every day. Place was very big and spacious. The one thing I noticed it was a bit noisy, but we also stayed at another place in Venice on a third story on a quieter alleyway and it was noisy too.

Everything about this property was exceptional. The staf was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was perfect. We had a 2 bedroom suite. The beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was delivered each morning with ample choices. I could not say enough about how we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this to anyone I talk to.

It would be near impossible to get a better location right off San Marco square with incredible views. Our suite was the perfect size for our family of four with ample room for everyone to have their own quarters/space. Would return in a heartbeat.

There is no better location to stay in all of Venice. Located in the historic clock tower right on piazza Saint Marco, the view from our room was simply incredible and made for the most memorable 3 day stay we could have imagined. With the widows closed the noise from below could not be heard but we preferred leaving the windows open enjoying the breeze and watching the celebrations below. If you are looking for special this is it!

Canaletto Luxury Suites exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff provided warm, personalized service that made us feel both welcomed and valued. The suite itself was stunning, spacious, elegant, and immaculately clean, with breathtaking views over Piazza San Marco. The design perfectly blends historic Venetian charm with modern luxury, and every detail, from the plush bedding to the marble bathroom, was top-tier. The location couldn’t be more perfect, steps from the Basilica, Doge’s Palace, and the Grand Canal, yet quiet enough to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The private terrace was a highlight, offering a serene spot to enjoy morning coffee or an evening drink with the sounds of Venice below. Truly a five-star experience. I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable, luxurious stay in Venice.

Absolutely beautiful location, overlooking the San Marco square and Basilica Marco Close to many eateries, wine bars and water taxis. The apartment was fabulous. Had a private sauna , jacuzzi bath and two separate bedrooms, kitchen area and breakfast served in your apartment. Impeccably clean with lovely toiletries, fluffy towels. Cons: …..minor details and no impact on the stay specifically… reception staff not the most hospitable, barely looked up at us , just said passports .. no hello or welcome. The entrance isn’t very well signed and initially looked like a sketchy alley . For the price of the room per night it would have been nice to have some complimentary milk to make a coffee with the complimentary beverages in the room. Room 103 the main shower ( rain shower head) was quite poor , pressure wise, and the water took so long to get warm and the toilet lid was loose ( only stayed one night so no big stress) Overall highly recommended!

The good with the bad

The accommodations were clean and very spacious. The location is great if you Are staying for a night or two. You are right in the middle of one of the busiest tourist areas in the city so for longer stays, I would suggest an area less congested Although they provided earplugs on the nightstand, the area was very noisy into very early hours of the morning. We were there mid week, I’m sure it’s worse on weekends. The check-in process is a little challenging as it’s not a typical hotel. Their phones were down and it took us an hour and a half of wandering around Venice to find them. There is another hotel in Venice with the same name so don’t be confused. The check in has a different name than the apartments. All in all, they are very clean, well appointed, spacious and noisy.

This was our last stop on our trip. It was lovely! Elevator to our room was a major plus. The room had so much room for just us two. Breakfast was included and delivered both mornings and it was perfect. The bed was comfortable and beautifully decorated. It had a sauna in our room, but did not have time to use it. Wonderful stay!!!
