Very comfortable accomodations, warm and welcoming host. Could not be in a better location. Central to everything by short walk but tucked away in a perfect quiet spot. The fluffy pancake restaurant below was an excellent bonus!

The steps entering the lobby are steep & number about 48. It got tricky at the top since the handrails ended. We would not have booked this place had we known the nature of the stairs. But, if the stairs do not intimidate you, the property is okay. Personally Maurizio was not hospitable & was generally indifferent. He seemed more occupied with his "meetings" rather than the comfort of his guests. We felt like we were more of an inconvenience than guests. There were some maintenance issues that we didn’t even bother to mention to Maurizio, such as a non-functionimg light, loose toilet seat, & inability to get tissues from housekeeping without speaking with Maurizio first. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, water was readily available, & location was convenient. The wine & cookies in the room the first day, was a nice touch.There were snacks, beverages, & convenience of a kitchen in the lobby.

103 top floor - no balcony. good bed , common area very nice with milk , juice , yogurt , fruit , coffee everyday all day. Upper Patio is the best with views of 10 church towers and passing on grand canal with nice seating area !!!! Areas of concern - over 60 steps to get to apartment and very narrow , musty smell in room as could not use AC as they turned it off even if it was 23 celsius in room. nights were ok to open window but room is over restaurant so smell of food and cigarette as it came up directly to room when windows open. choose room 102 it has balcony and less steps. Overall good given location and services provided

Thank you, Maurizio, for offering such a wonderful place to stay for our first trip to Venice. It is beautiful, clean, well-equipped and in a great location, close to the Vaporetto and the Rialto bridge, and within easy walking distance to San Marco Square. Seeing our first Venetian sunset from the amazing rooftop terrace, glasses of complimentary sparkling wine in hand, was a lovely intro to the magical city of Venezia. We’d definitely stay here again.

The place was lovely and quiet but still very walkable for the heart of Venice. We had a couple of issues that I’d suggest checking on first, we were under the impression we could store luggage on checkout day and were told the night before that would not be available so we had to find and rent lockers at the last minute (25 euro), and while you can see water in the far distance from one of the windows in the lounge area, i think ‘canal view’

Loved my stay at La Finestra sulle Beccarie! The room was clean, spacious, and in an amazing location, close to everything but still quiet at night. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Venice!

Fantastic stay!

Amazing stay here. The accommodation is exactly as pictured; clean, modern and comfortable. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a small collection of 3 rooms with a communal lounge, kitchen, reception area and rooftop terrace (a must visit!). On arrival we were thrilled to discover there were multiple extras we didnt realise we'd have - various free foods available in the communal area including cakes, granola, biscotti, yogurts, jam; a free bottle of prosecco in your room, daily coffee pods to use in the coffee machine, biscuits on arrival, still and sparkling water in the fridge in your room. It really felt like a treat to stay here and we loved enjoying our prosecco on the roof terrace - amazing 360 degree views over the rooftops of Venice! The hotel is located in a great spot centrally to access all of Venice within a 20 minute walk easily, with an overwhelming choice of eateries nearby to enjoy. We would return her in an instant.

Stadtunterkunft im Herzen Venedig

Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt in Venedig wo es auch noch viele Einheimische gibt. Ich mochte es sehr und würde wieder hier wohnen. Ich hatte die Junior Suite mit einem Doppelbett und eunem separatem Raum mit Einzelbett. Für die Gemeinschaft gibt es eine Küche mit kleinen Snacks (Cornflakes, Joghurt, Kaffee und etwas Kuchen) total süss gemacht. In den Zimmern ist überall Klimaanlage und auch Fenster. Eine hauseigene Dachterasse ist auch vorhanden, mit Sitzmöglichkeiten zum relaxen. Eine Herausforderung hat das Appartement, den Aufstieg der Treppe zu den Wohnungen ist sehr steil und mit Koffer sehr geschwerlich. Wir durften den Lifter dafür benutzen, auf Nachfrage.

Perfect place for a comfortable stay in Venice. Spacious and modern rooms. Shared kitchenette equipped with fridge and coffee machine. Friendly and helpful staff. The best part is the rooftop terrace with 360 view over the city.
