We loved the friendliness of the staff and the beautiful garden to relax and have breakfast! The perfect way to start the day! The location was definitely a plus, also.
Everyone at the Hotel Flora provided exceptional service and really cared about their guests. Cristian provided excellent instructions to the hotel and to a number of our destinations. Nicoletta gave very helpful guidance for a trip to Murano and a glass blowing demonstration as well as an excellent restaurant in Burano. The night managers were also very kind and helpful!
Breakfast was served in the garden by very attentive staff.
The Flora is a great family run hotel in a great location in San Marco area of city. Staff was exceptional and catered to these poor Italian speaking Americans exceptionally. Truly a great little boutique hotel and authentic Venice experience.
The building and its garden are so beautiful and charming. There us attention to details and cleanliness. I felt safe during my stay in this particular pandemic time. The staff is outstanding for any tipe of assistance or suggestions about where to eat, ask Tommaso. If you like opera it us just near to the La Fenice Theatre and you can walk anywhere it us the perfect location, for a really amazing price compared to the care they give you. They could only improve the pillows I found them a bit uncomfortable but that us my personal advice. The place is silent and the view on the antique garden is so relaxing you wake up in the heart of Venice. Must do: a guided walk with their friend guide Daniela.
Was not great experience was with my family along with toddler soonest enter in the room found broken glass pieces was in hand of toddlers we were so lucky saw on time dust was around clearly was so bad cleaning after this they offer juice for free because room was not clean, breakfast was not good though i recommend be aware such stuff when you are in this hotel special with family

The Flora is perfect - comfortable, friendly and unpretentiously attractive and cosy. The magical courtyard garden is a haven (and the breakfast served there is excellent). You can tell it is family run and the staff are brilliant. The attention to giving good, well judged advice on Venice (including how to avoid the tourist traps that abound in the city) was superb. Special thanks to Gioele for his help.
The location, the staff and the breakfast at Hotel Flora were excellent. The lounge is a nice place to meet at the end of the day for a snack and a cocktail. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our staff.
The hotel was so homely good position and the courtyard so quaint. My only complaint would be the put up beds in our room not really appropriate for adults, otherwise a great place

Chhelpful arming staff. Beautiful hotel. Just getting a little tired around the edges. Loose wires in light fittings in room and some sockets not working. aside from that. We loved it.
We loved the atmosphere and overall service. Everyone was very welcoming and treated us like family. The lounge area was especially comfortable and the breakfast was quite tasty with something for everyone. All in all if we ever get the chance to come back to Venice, Hotel Flora will be our go to!
Great breakfast
Very central and a really nice hotel only 1 complaint and that was how difficult it was to find especially late at night and to be honest i was well pissed off that they guy i was calling and asking for directions didn't seem to care less.
That apart i would 100% recommend thr hotel as the rest of the staff were spot on and the guy who seemed to be in charge of the breakfast room was so nice and seemed to love his job.
Great hotel and a fantastic City

Beautiful hotel, very clean, great location and very goof breakfast.
Perfectly located with helpful staff. However, NO air conditioning in October! Forced to open the windows ( no screens) and breathe in cigarette smoke from below.
Small family-run hotel only a few minutes walk from the Grand Canal and St Mark's Square. If you're looking for a swimming pool and room service this isn't the hotel for you. If you want a small, unassuming, friendly place in an ideal location then look no further.
this was my second stay at this hotel....i wouldn't think of staying anywhere else...ideal location, clean and charming room, excellent breakfast, warm and caring staff, there is not one thing that i do not like!
The location/front desk/breakfast is excellent. The room was very outdated, one comfortable chair for three people, and a tiny bathroom. The beds were so-so. The air conditioning in hot August made the room bearable...nothing beyond that. I’m not sure if that is a typical room for Venice, but I was disappointed after all the rave reviews.
The staff was incredibly helpful and made our experience special by providing valuable local guidance to a variety of services. The wait staff and cleaning staff were attentive and adaptable to our schedule. This hotel was situated nearby attractions but off the beaten path enough to provide privacy.
The hotel is so unusual. It has a 1920’s feel about it with gorgeous old furniture and a beautiful courtyard to sit out in. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had with so much choice and lovely staff. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Venice. The owner(?) who manned reception seemingly night and day couldn’t do enough for us. Our short stay in the city was made by The Flora.
