Terrific B&B with lovely service (and breakfasts) from Laura - located just by a vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal, away from the main tourist areas but within easy reach. Very good dining options nearby - La Zucca especially, but ask Laura for others. Reasonably priced, very good simple facilities, exactly what we were hoping for. I'm sure we'll return.

Great property, very well maintained and held by very nice and caring people. Attic room was more than wonderful, lot of light, view to the Canal Grande, super clean and loved all little details in the room and bathroom. We were 4, 2 adults and 2 teenagers, very spacy room with very comfortable queen beds. Useful and important tips on Venice were given to us. Delicious breakfast served in the room. B&B at 10 minutes waking from the railway station and some 20-30 minutes walking to St. Mark's Square. Locker room available for the luggage after check out. We recommend the property to all, we were more than satisfied by all services and if going back we'll stay again there for sure. Thank you very much again to the owners!

Laura takes excellent care of guests. The upstairs room has 2 very comfortable queen beds and a nice bathroom. Breakfast made to order in the room made us feel truly on vacation. Thanks also to her dining suggestions and help with getting around. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It felt like I was coming home to my own apt albeit with everything taken care of. Laura was a wonderful host and maintains her property. She has a notebook filled restaurants and helpful hints of what to see/do and deal with any issue. The restaurants she suggested were excellent. The room was large and airy, the bathroom clean and modern with plenty of hot water. Loved our stay there. Will definitely suggest B & B Vista Sul Grande Canal to friends who travel to Venice.

Great room, lovely view and perfect location
We had a girls trip to Venice and three of us stayed in the quad room. It felt spacious enough for all of us not to be in each others way and had enough of everything we needed. The location is great, easy to get to from airport, vaporetto stops and most things were easily walking distance. It’s out of the main tourist area so things were quieter and cheaper, but still so lovely and scenic. Laura the host was fabulous and breakfasts served in the room were great!

Very nice B&B
The place is about a 10 minute walk from the bus station. The host was informative and had a binder of local favorites. The room was nice and clean. We stayed on the 3rd floor and there was a small elevator to use, which was a pleasant surprise. Every morning the host brought us breakfast to our room. Definitely recommend.

Located steps from the "rova di biasio" station which was great. We stayed onthe upper floor on a nice decorated room with 2 queen beds..last floor with stairs..no problem for us. Tasty breakfast serVed to the room with a smile..nice resturants and gelato close by 3 minutes walking.. Quiet place with very good hospitality from the first minute..i wil recomend. ***1/2

FABULOUS communication before arrival and during! SOOOO CLEAN, 10 minute walk from train station and 20 to airport bus. Breakfast was outstanding, fridge available, comfortable beds, great shower, 30 minute walk to St Marks Square, restaurants everywhere! Pics are what you experience! Owners go above and beyond for our needs and questions!!

Stayed here with a family of 4 in August 2023 and cannot rate it highly enough. Before we arrived we were contacted by the owner Laura who helped us with the best way to navigate our way to the accommodation on the Venice transport options. We had the attic suite which was two double beds and private bathroom with shared access to kitchen etc.. The owner(s) couldn't have been more helpful with directions, local amenities, tips on where to eat or get ice cream, the accommodation was clean, comfortable, secure and thankfully air conditioned! Breakfast was fantastic. Grazie mille Laura.

Great view!
Our family of four stayed here two nights in July. The location was excellent, 5 minute walk from train station and 15 minutes to the main square. The view of the grand canal was amazing. Breakfast was fantastic. Hosts were super accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Anna was the absolute best! We had the quad room in the attic which was perfect for a family of four. The B&B was centrally located and near Vaporetto stops, but in overcrowded touristy areas. Breakfast was amazing and dinner recommendations were superb. When our departing train was impacted by the rail strike, she was so helpful, as well. If we come back, we'll certainly book there again. 5 STARS!!

What a great way to start our trip to Italy! great location friendly and very helpful. located right on the canal with easy boat access to everywhere. Dining and shopping all close by. Laura is a great host and made us feel very welcome. If we were to travel to Venice again, we hope to stay at the Vista sul Canal Grande.

This property exceeded our expectation! The proprietors were always quick to respond to our inquiries. The directions to the location were clear and the room we had was so lovely and clean. They did have A/C in our room which was a wonderful bonus. There was some noise from the canal, but that is to be expected if you want the gorgeous view. I recommend an eye mask if you want to sleep in (we always bring them just in case) as our room was very bright in the morning. The breakfast was delivered to our room and it was fantastic. I would stay here again it was so wonderful!!

Our first few days in Italy were spent in this lovely B&B. The owners communicated with us before we arrived and were waiting for our arrival. It was a very clean and spacious room. Breakfast was delivered to our room every morning and was really great as were able to pick things that we like. It was a quieter area which I really appreciated after walking to some of the more touristy places. The owner gave us recommendations of restaurants that the locals go to and were close by and they proved to be fabulous and reasonable!

Our stay at B&B Vista sul Canal Grande was wonderful. As a family of four we had plenty of space in our room, with an incredible view and our hosts were thoughtful, gracious and lovely people who made us feel very welcome. Our breakfasts were fresh and delicious and an amazing way to start our day. We enjoyed our breakfast in our room with the windows overlooking the Grande Canal open, and listening to the sounds of the waterways. We would love to return to this property when we visit Venice again.

The view was amazing, it was super close to a Water Taxi stop, and the made to order breakfast was delicious. Owners were accommodating with our luggage allowing us to check out but leave the luggage in a secured location thus allowing us to walk around Venice for a few more hours before our departure, I feel the view made it an unforgettable trip for us

Excellent stay close to the train station. We stayed in the family room and it was by far the largest room we have stayed in throughout Italy. It was comfortable, well decorated, and you can’t beat the view of the Grand Canal from the window. Breakfast was served in-room and was amazing. The hosts were very nice to deal with. We would highly recommend!

Perfect location, a block from water bus stop on Grand Canal. Laura was a gracious and helpful host. Room was comfortable, well-lit, very clean and had things I appreciate such as lots of electrical outlets. Breakfast delivered to room was lovely. Enjoyed sitting at our window sipping coffee while watching traffic on the Grand Canal. There was also a shared living room and courtyard available. We didn’t have time to use them, but they were nice.
