This apartment is in the historic area on the 2nd floor no elevator its nice and clean but the AC is weak during heat wave.

Thanks but you where in Venice and not in another city!The Apartment is at FIRST floor (only five steps) and I help all of my clients with luggages. The AC work perfectly and no one has problem like you. Please next time pay attention when you decide to leave a review !

Very good place, in a good location. Close to the water bus station. 1 minute walking distance to a small bar where you can drink good coffee and eat crosant. The place is relatively quiet only in the morning you can hear some noises. You must remember that they charge an extra cleaning fee of 30 euros, this surprised us a lot as there was no annotation on hotels.com. There is also a tourist tax for staying in Venice which is 4 euro per person per night. On the website is 1.50 🤔

Dear Mrs Joanna thanks for you review.Everything is written on the website you booked, but you have to read ! Only for the Apartment there is Euro 30,00 for cleaning fee and believe me that is the minimum price you'll find in Venice. The city tax there is in every place and not only in Venice. You can enter on the web site of the Municipality of Venice and you can verify city tax. City tax in high season is Euro 4,00 and depends from the Lions (stars). Yes you are right, on the web site is written Euro 1,50 BUT IS 8 YEARS THAT I ASK TO EXPEDIA AND HOTELS.COM TO CHANGE IT, they reply to me ok and they didn't change anything!ThanksAndrea

Andrea is a great host. The property is very central and clean. I had the appartement for 5 people. The sofabed is not so nice to sleep on. It was hard and makes a lot of noise. But since you would be so tired of walking, you will eventually fall asleep. If I'm back in Venice I will most definitely stay again at B&B Fortuny.

Great Stay in Venice
On arrival Andrea gave us a map and went through in detail all the highlights of the area along with some restaurant recommendations. Very central location, easy to walk everywhere. Room very clean with nice decor and a safe. A well stocked self service breakfast. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting Venice stays here and would recommend anyone staying here to visit La Colombina for a meal.

Truly, the best
Can't say enough great things about B&B Fortuny— Andrea the owner is so friendly, communicative, helpful and kind. My room was spacious, perfectly priced, SO CLEAN (a rarity for Venice) and wonderfully located. I plan to stay here whenever I go to Venice from now on.

Andrea was very helpful. Guided us well on the locations to visit in Venice. Had very good understanding of the local transport. Accommodation is modern, clean and close to local transport. Supermarkets are just a few minutes walk. Would have been great if the accommodation had a microwave.

Great Stay
We had the most amazing stay here for 2 nights. The room was lovely, location was perfect (close to everything) and the host was lovely. Breakfast (of champions) included was the icing on the cake - great selection including pastries and cold meats. We will, without a doubt, be staying here again for our next trip to the beautiful city of Venice!

Absolutely amazing experience! Me and my wife travelled Europe for 30 days last September for our honeymoon and our experience was unbeatable at B&B Fortuny. The owner Andrea takes a lot of pride in this place and it was super clean and in a perfect location. He takes the time to meet with each guest to answer any questions and personally recommends locations and day trips while drawing this all in a map. We are clean freaks and we stayed in only 4 and 5 star luxury hotels on our trip and in none of them we felt more comfortable and were as clean as BnB Fortuny. We will definitely be returning to Venice and 100% will be staying at Andreas spot again! Tyler & Natalie

Dear "unknown" client or better "TouristfromUK" you stayed in my B&B and unfortunately I have no the pleasure to know your name... In any case probably you didn't come in the breakfast room and you thought that the breakfast was the things that we offer in the room like coffe, thé, biscuits, nuts, water with gas and no gas :-) Next time come in the breakfast room and probably you'll discover a new world with coffe espresso, italian coffe with moka, yougurt, muesli, bread, fresh pastries salad and sweet, croissants, marmelade, nutella, different juices, ham, salame, turkey, parma, chees, grana padano, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms. olives black and green, artichokes, water and.....the MILK!!! Ah the milk cold and hot :-) Good night "TouristfromUK"... Ps: ...and the breakfast is included in the price of your reservation ;-) Thanks for your review

Great host! Andrea is easy to reach, communicate with. Gives you the whole Venice experience in 15 min or less. Suggests places to go and very detailed on getting there. Good stay at B&B
B&B was centrally located and getting in and out was very easy walking or using the boat. Communication was good with directions and how to get in send in advance. We had the room on the 3 rd floor, it was small but recently refurbished and had all the amenities. Breakfast was pretty basic, boiled eggs, cold cuts, cheese and some pastries.

Amazing stay
This was the first apartment we have stayed in, typically always hotels. The apartment was perfect, two separate rooms, comfortable beds, very clean, and all the comforts of what you would expect to be in an apartment. Location was only 10 minute walk to St Marks, and easy access to the rest of Venice, we didn’t need to take a water taxi.

Lovely little B&B
Lovely B&B in a great location, close to Vaporetto and Grande Canal attractions. Really comfortable bed, exceptionally clean and a great breakfast of cold meats, cheeses, bread, juice, yoghurts etc. Owner is very helpful and able to recommend places to see and eat.

Gem apartment in Venice
Great apartment, great location, service and support from Andrea was fantastic, everything we were looking for in Venice. Apartment was very clean, had all the little amenities that make a stay easier, plus everything worked, which did not happen in other apartment rentals across Italy. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit, and given our experience with Andrea, we have already suggested his property to two other groups traveling to Venice this summer. I wish our rentals in Florence, Rome and Milan had been as positive as B&B Fortuny.

B+b Fortuny was great. Andrea our host was very helpful. If I ever go back to Venice, and I really hope that I do, I will stay there again. Easy walk to all the major sites in Venice and lots of great restaurants.
