"Bicycle packing holiday start hotel. The staff were great. I could take my bike into the room to build. They also were helpful to give my bag to SBS who i booked to take it to another city.
The food is great at breakfast, everything is fresh and lots of choice.
Room is comfortable and the window has a blackout blind.
Lots of families were at the hotel and it looked to cater well for them.
No restaurant in the evening but they have a fridge of food which can be bought to eat cold. The chicken pasta salad was good."
"Useful to have so close to airport and not noisy enough to affect sleep. Limited food options for dinner but breakfast had good variety. Very slow elevator, we opted to use the backstairs instead. There was luggage storage but they charged $15USD per bag, and it was pretty much self-served with a door code to a storage room with no security check when you retrieved it later (someone could easily have taken your bag)"
"The property was built a while ago. Nicely maintained but could use an update. Rooms were austere but fine. Bathrooms needed update. Breakfast was good but dinner was just okay. There is no shop to buy something else like ice cream for dessert. So I would give available food options a “fair” rating. If better food is important Maybe consider staying in Billund. Definitely expensive.
Gift shop was very small. No safes in rooms I had to request access to an old vault in the luggage storage room that had keyed boxes big enough for passport. A few areas where you could build with Lego blocks but nothing more that we could find.
We enjoyed our time but not planning to come back to this hotel."
"Very clean lodge, the swimming pool was fantastic, play parks everywhere for the kids and the place is very well kept. So close to Legoland and walking distance to Lego house too. "
"Ask for a quiet room and away from elevator-was given room 310 yes was away from elevator but NEXT TO BIG STREET and in front of the side street and YES it was very NOISY.
Room: NO SAFETY box (VERY WIRET WE HAD TO BRING OUR PASSP ETC WITH US ALL THE TIME when go for city) No Kettle – No Coffee (they want to have free coffee downstairs anytime – wow get up in the morning and… Water in shower – no power and had a very stupid light power system. Next morning 7:15 breakfast in a kindergarten (feels like with lots of kids running around the food). Why did we not get a warning from reception to avoid this “kindergarten” – lady there were informed we like quiet mornings and even told us she was knowing about a group of kids so why not let us know. For the info most hotels have a list when its best time for go for breakfast …to avoid the big crowd.
Good news for cake lovers – nice free cake in afternoon.
Why we were not offering a room to the inner Card – exc room 317 or similar?
For the money we paid (201 cad nt) we cannot recommend there and we will avoid any MILLING hotels in Denmark."
