Oasis has lower prices and better breakfast but the rooms are not as nice as the Lighthouse. However, the Lighthouse staff are much less friendly and less helpful than the Oasis. "Stated for a chilled out bank holiday weekend and it was perfect.. not very big which was exactly what we wanted. It has a really good pool but it’s set right on the beach which is sandy and looks on to the bay when the sea is calm and brilliant for snorkelling…. Best thing about the hotel is the staff…. All of them are really pleasant and helpful and Kevin, who is stationed on the beach to get drinks is an absolute star…. “Everyone should have a Kevin”"

"My daughter and I booked a last minute break to celebrate her a level results. Mayia was so much more than we expected. Immaculate, lovely room, incredibly welcoming and attentive service, food was genuinely excellent particularly the a la carts with inventive menus and quality produce. Beautiful pools, delicious cocktails, great spa. Not cheap but great value for what you get. We don’t often go back to places but we will definitely come back here."

"What a stunning resort and wonderful holiday. We had a fabulous 10 day holiday, great swimming pools often with loungers available later on in the day. Beach a few minutes walk across the road at the bottom of the resort. Would be better if people weren't allowed to save loungers. We arrived at the beach most days by nine and had to search for loungers available for the three of us as others had saved with towels, some didn't show up til midday. Main restaurant had a wonderful selection of food and then there were themed restaurants, you had to book, we chose the Greek restaurant and ate well. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was adequate for the three of us, a double and a two singles in the same room with ensuite bath/shower and balcony. Coffee/tea and fridge refilled daily with water, soft drinks, beer and wine. "
