British Hotel - Sensible Choice
I spent 2 nights in this hotel. Though the building is old, the facilities of the hotel and hotel rooms are of no difference to modern hotels. My room is a twin room which is quite spacious with an air conditioner, though it’s a bit dry to have the heater on during winter time. The location is very close to the port with picturesque coast view. The old town and city center is also within walking distance. The front desk receptionist was very helpful.
Yet it is a hotel not an apartment, don’t expect any kettle in the room. But a helpful front-desk personnel has lent one to me.
There is only a shower basin in the washroom, but the shower curtain is not long enough to prevent water from spilling out. For a clean freak like me, it’s not easy to tolerate the water puddles all around the bathroom after taking the shower. Due to the special landscape of Valletta, you would expect a lot of steps/staircases in the hotel and even in the room.
