"Great location if you’re relying on public transport the train station is just a short walk behind the hotel, making it very easy to get into Venice. I also appreciated the daily housekeeping and the hardwood floors in the room, which were a nice touch as I prefer them over carpet. The breakfast staff were friendly, and the selection was good. However, the room experience was worse than poor. The hotel overall feels outdated for an IHG property. The bathroom was horrible old and with a strong sewage smell that was unbearable. We contacted IHG support, and hotel staff came to address the issue, but only sprayed what seemed like bleach. The smell did not go away and made the stay extremely uncomfortable. After reading other low-rated reviews, it’s clear that these issues are not isolated and reflect ongoing problems that need to be addressed. Overall, excellent convenience for transport, but the room quality — especially the bathroom — needs serious attention and proper maintenance. I did appreciate the hotel transportation to the airport. "

"The rooms are quite small but have everything you need. Excellent location. Easy to get to a lot of tourist attractions- bus and train stops close by. Reception staff were friendly & helpful. Altho we paid for breakfast, we ate out. It smelled good from front desk 🙂 My only negatives were a) needing to carry luggage up narrow staircase despite having a ‘lift’ ((elevator) and b) that you can hear everything from other rooms, the hall and the street-we had room facing street so we had to keep window closed at night. Regardless, I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to London."
