嘉蒂娜谷

The epic Dolomites! This was taken from the Seceda top station, which is in the Northern Italy town of Urtijëi (Ortisei in Italian, St. Ulrich in Gröden in German). I took the cable car up to the Seceda station, which is 2500 m/8202 ft above sea level. The mountain views at Seceda station were breathtaking! More about the town: Urtijëi is unique in that most of the people also speak Ladin (a Romance language with only 31,000 native speakers). Was wonderful to also walk the town a little bit! On a very cold winter day!

Waking up to watch the sun rise over the peaks on Seceda Mountain is an experience unlike any other. There's a cable car that takes you almost all the way to the top and plenty of huts in the area where one can spend the night. #golden
