Place was very nice and well located. 10 min walk to the Ballena National Park entrance. It was very warm and no fan strong enough to keep windows opened so we had to use air conditioning and leave curtains closed. So we did no feel like staying very long inside. Minimal amenities (small fridge in room, AC, TV) but clean. Nightclub/restaurant next door plays music in the evening until late(ish). No cleaning or maid service. Secure locking gate was usually closed and locked in the evening.

The ballena area is dispersed semi-rural with lots of areas to walk. A half km or so from the hotel is a strip of restaurants and souvenir on the road leading to the entrance to the National Park. The town center is 1.5 km distant.

No food delivery you have to go out or order take out at the place, some let you order ahead but you still pick it up. The national park has 4 entrances, ask your tour guides which one to go to because waze will take you to chaman/colonia

I honestly did not do enough research about Uvita before arriving. It is a safe and relaxing little town where you can find all your needs. I found gift shops a little overpriced. There are some nice restaurants and bars around.
