The room was just fine. The staff were excellent. A great bargain in a fabulous location, off the beaten path. The dinner reservation at Ixora was a very nice touch and a fabulous meal.

Newly updated room and bathroom with access to an outside kitchen area. The room itself was clean and comfortable and the shower was really nice. Walking distance from a fantastic restaurant (Ixora) and a long walk/short bicycle ride from downtown. The couple that owns the place are attentive, warm and welcoming. They were eager to make sure we had what we needed and let us use their bicycles to explore. Wonderful people.

We stayed last minute at the property and it turned out being a great choice. It was central to downtown and an easy walk to most everything. The owners are great and the room itself was exactly what we needed.

Great Location

Great location with friendly hosts, conveniently located close to town, and free kayaks to explore the area with. The host arranged a 50cc scooter rental with pick-up service by the rental company at the lodge.

Excellent séjour de 3 nuits, Claudine est vraiment accueillante et d'excellent conseil pour la visite de l'île, et pour les réservations d'excursions/location d'auto en dernière minute. Ce fut une superbe expérience. Mauruuru et bonne continuation :-)

This is a nice option for a brief stay. There was a corner store with good selections, a small kitchen and a great restaurant a 5 minute walk down the road. The host is quite helpful if a taxi is needed or for any information. The drawback is no air conditioning and barking dogs.

Très bon accueil, proche de Uturoa et de l aéroport. La chambre est un peu petite et bas de plafond. Pour une nuit c est suffisant.

Well stocked kitchen, shared bathroom was spacious and very clean. No AC, but always a nice breeze and ceiling fan was all you needed. The pool was a great place to chill. Perfect location just outside of town and our host was very helpful. Recommend renting a car best price for getting around.

Not a hotel, a backyard room in some terrible neighborhood. Wanted to leave before check in but no where to go. I would take this off your list. If I ever get a place like this from you It will be our last!!!

This accommodation is a private room adjacent to the owner’s home. The location is excellent for exploring Raiatea and joining local tours. A good small grocery store is just steps away, and a large Carrefour in town is within biking distance. The room is comfortable, and the bathroom feels new, clean, and fresh. Outside, there is a seating area with chairs, a table, and patio umbrellas, offering views of the lush green mountains. A few friendly and adorable dogs stop by from time to time, adding to the friendly atmosphere. Bikes are available and suitable for short trips. The outdoor kitchen is shared with the other guest room and offers plenty of refrigerator space. While functional, the kitchen could be a bit cleaner and some utensils would benefit from an upgrade. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations and is likely one of the best budget-friendly options close to town (Uturoa).

This review is NOT based on any stay at this lodge. I had to cancel one week before arrival due to the explosive rise in Delta variant COVID infections. The owner refused any refund, not even meeting me half way. I realize COVID affects businesses as well as tourists, still, this lack of flexibility and generosity is appalling.
