雲仙を代表する温泉旅館。広大なスペースに離れの部屋が並んでおり、特別室以外はメゾネットタイプの二階建て。広い4部屋にさらに十分な余裕あるスペースがあり持て余すほど。トイレ二箇所に立派な内風呂があるが、別途共用の温泉が二箇所あるので使う機会が無くもったいなかった。 到着すると従業員の方のお出迎えがあり、別室で抹茶とお菓子をいただきながらチェックイン。その後部屋へ案内していただき説明を受ける。 夕食の開始時間は宿泊時間中自由に選ぶことができる。今回は10名程度の宴席であったので、別途個室を用意いただく。中居さん手厚く配されサービス面で不満は無い。食材やお酒についての知識も豊富。 料理は懐石コースで食前酒、先付けからお食事まで隙が無い。見た目も美しく、味も申し分ない。料理長の案内付きのメニューも情報量多く参考になる。 飲料はワインから日本酒、焼酎までなんでもある。ワインはやや割高。日本酒と焼酎は長崎の地酒中心で楽しい。 朝食は、人数が少なければレストランでの食事だが、人数が多かったので個室を用意いただいた。 夕食同様、巻物のメニューがあり参考になる。特に機を衒ったものはなく、非常にオーソドックスな朝食で健康になりそうな気がする。 非常な高額の旅館だが、お金では買えない満足と驚きがある。経験できて良かった。

ひのき風呂が素晴らしかったです

お料理と内湯のヒノキ風呂が素晴らしかったです。浴室に通じるドアを開けた途端、ふわっと香ってくるヒノキの香りが最高の癒しになりました。お部屋も表記に含まれていない空間がたくさんあり広々としていました。スタッフの皆さんもとても感じの良い方々で、どなたにでもお勧めできる素晴らしい旅館です。
