Outstanding view of the river, town and mountains! Very friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms and tasty local breakfast. Would highly recommend and would stay here again if we visit the area again!

Our Stay for big family
Everything is good except that it is kinda tiring for our big family of 9 with young kids to lug 9 big luggages to walk to apartment from train station during arrival and check out. Otherwise , it is perfect as It provides full facilities very suitable for family. The view from room is excelelnt. Get to see mountain and lake.

Wonderful location, many stores and restaurants. convenient to both train stations. staff helpful in providing direction in arranging an excursion. Rooms were clean and quiet. The Swiss don’t under-feed you so heating up leftovers from the night before in a microwave would be the only suggestion that i would make. If you’re thinking about saving a few francs by dragging your luggage..better be in good shape. $20 chf for a cab…we’ll worth it.

I found this hotel costly and the cost to value is poor. My room had ants roaming everywhere. Being from the USA my expectations were very high. This hotel/Property is definitely not the worth price I paid for this hotel

Wonderful property run by a very-welcoming couple. Their local knowledge was really helpful as we explored the Interlaken area. Breakfast was also a real treat with all local food and a great dining room looking out to the mountains. This place is an easy 10 out of 10. Can’t think of anything they could have done better 😊

Interlaken lovely hotel
All perfect from A to Z , next to river , panoramic view to mountains, centre is so closed 5 min , the owner of the hotel always available for all kind of support . Perfect for families, quite area ،

Nice setting & wonderful hosts
Nice hotel in beautiful setting on a river. Privately owned and operated, the hosts were most accommodating and gracious. A little walk to the town area but the scenic setting made it a joy.

Great stay at Goldey Swiss Quality Hotel
We were welcomed by Camille after a very challenging day of travel. She was extremely gracious, helpful, spoke perfect English, patiently answered all our questions, and was careful to provide very helpful directions. She made our stay a delight. The hotel is conveniently located halfway between the two train stations (about a 10 to 15 minute walk to either). Breakfast provided a good selection in the dining room overlooking the river.

Great Location and View
The hotel was in a great quiet location. Only a short walk to either station, west or east, and a pleasant walk along the river. Had a superior room which had a lovely view of the river and mountains and could watch hang gliders in the distance every morning. However, the room was rather over priced for what it offered and apart from the view was not what you would expect from a 'superior' room. The beds were very uncomfortable and the room was very hot at night. Need to have A/C or at least a fan to use as you can not leave the patio doors open at night due to the bugs .Made sleeping very difficult in July. The breakfast was fine and the afternoon tea was a nice thought. Wi fi was awful though. Rarely able to get it in our room but you could get it downstairs. An iron in the room would be a good idea. Overall liked the location, view and the staff were friendly but rather over priced for the amenities.

The best staff we have encountered in our Switzerland trip! Everyone was friendly, kind, and helpful. The view from our room was spectacular, also! Only downside was the tub was slippery making showering tricky.

A week's stay 18/25th August
A good standard hotel situated on the waterway between west and east Interlaken, with good views from the balcony into the town and the mountains beyond. About ten minutes walk from the train/bus and ship stations on the West side and 15 minutes to the east.Excellent service at reception and at breakfast, with a good choice of food. Rooms, including the bathroom are compact, with tea and coffee making facilities. Some noise transference from adjoining rooms may disturb lighter sleepers.

Nice enough but starting to feel a little dated
This is my third stay over 8 years or so. Its in a great, quiet location with private parking which is key for me. My single room was clean and tidy but very very hot even with the balcony door open all night. Hotels at this price really should have air con. The WiFi signal was fine although I was above the bar restaurant so perhaps no surprise. It was very slow / unusable in the evening as I guess everyone was on it. I used the hotel as a base for a couple of days driving around the alps and for this it was superb. Staff were very nice. Just needs AC really...

Another great week in Interlaken
The hotel is lovely and the staff are amazingly friendly. I just wish they had air conditioning in the rooms as it does get very hot in the summer, especially if you have a mountain view room, hence the lower room comfort score. Other than that the place is spotless and very comfortably furnished. This was our second trip to the Goldey Swiss.

It was nice the room I stay in front of river and Jungfraujoch mountain view. Location is good convenient to walk anywhere, Walk to Interlaken OST take about 8 mins by riverside path, NO AIRCON & No Ceiling Fan provides, stay during AUG summer room is hot, the staff advised me not to close balcony door for night, or you can rental a stand fan from staff charges CHF10 per night.

Excellent Location
Location is excellent. 8 min walk hence, not too close to the town center. However, the best view of Swiss Alps and river from the balcony. Some of the staff is sweet however, they get very rude upon the check out timings. We were delayed by 20 mins and did communicate that to them but had constant calls and house keeping guests banging and barging into our room (But thats all of Europe). Upon check out they gifted us a chocolate bar which was a sweet gesture.

Pleasant and Welcoming Hotel.
I stayed here 3 nights: 17/7 to 19/7 inc. I was in a single room which is on the side of the building but still has views over mountains and the old town. The room was quite small with a lack of surfaces; there was one small table and no bedside table. The single bed was comfortable and there was a neat efficient shower/bathroom. There was a balcony with table and chair. The main problem was the lack of air-conditioning; as temperatures were 30 degrees plus it was uncomfortable. There was a good substantial breakfast and a lounge where free coffee and cake was served 2pm - 5pm. Diane and her team provided a very good service and were helpful regarding sightseeing options. The hotel is a 15 min walk to Interlaken Ost and 20 minutes to Interlaken West and 10 minutes to the centre of town. Overall I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.

Tremendous hotel
Great location. Magnificent views. Only 5 min walk to town and 10-15 min walk to either railway station. Good selection at breakfast and could help yourself to coffee and cakes for afternoon tea. Staff friendly and informative. Even has coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Overall a most enjoyable experience.
