"The room was beautiful, as was the whole BnB. The hosts were wonderful and so accommodating and gave us suggestions on places of interest. Braemar is on the historic register and is full of beautiful antiques and interesting paintings and books to peruse. It is in an excellent location, being in the city center and close to the harbor and ferry. Breakfast was delicious and the overall ambiance is wonderful. I highly recommend this to everyone coming to Auckland. "

"Great hotel, great location! Very quiet room with nice view. Great restaurant. Friendly staff. Appreciate front desk's help holding our luggage before check-in and after check-out to facilitate our Auckland sightseeing. Small bathroom but fully functional. Highly recommend!"
"Overall, a great place to stay and very centrally located to most of the shopping around town. Very clean and quiet. Parking is literally next to the building, but costs $30 NZD/day. Breakfast, IMO, was WAY overpriced, at $42 NZD for the buffet, it's totally not worth it. I ate once, had some French toast, eggs, sausage, OJ and regretted my decision. Their is a Starbuck, Dunkin, and a Denny's around the corner. Better options, much cheaper!"
