"The bathroom door would not close and latch."

"Smelled of perfume trying to hide fish smell and mildew smell as soon as you walk into the hotel. Overwhelming fish smell from the restaurant. The elevator and all of the carpet smelled like someone was walking around constantly spraying cologne. Had a headache the entire time. The room was clean however they put us in a room with a slanted ceiling my husband who is 6 foot three had to sit down to use the toilet to urinate because the toilet was on the wall that was slanted. It is in an excellent location and the outside of the building is beautiful. I do not recommend the restaurant. We ordered fish and chips and a pizza. The pizza tasted like it was frozen from the convenience store. The fish and chips were decent, but not great. We did enjoy the afternoon, high tea but it wasn’t spectacular just decent. Never got down to breakfast just because the smell was very offputting. "

"This was the perfect hotel to stay in while in Aberdeen. The staff were very helpful with any questions we had. The location is ideal to seeing the city, while also within walking distance to the train station. The continental breakfast was better than other hotel breakfasts that required payment. Overall, can't recommend this hotel enough for travelers."

"My only issue with the room is that it was too dark to see well to do my hair. The only mirror is on the wardrobe door and it’s right beside the room door where there’s no lights. Otherwise I had a lovely stay. "

"Having read many reviews after booking this hotel, I arrived with a sense of trepidation You definitely get what you pay for but it isnt as bad as what many others have made out Beds were ok Carpet had stains on Shower was slightly warmer than tepid and it took a minute to warm up The door rattled a lot when anyone walked past Due to its central location, it attracts the party types etc so expect noise at 230am when they come back I wouldnt stay here again though Premier Inn all the way for my bext Aberdeen visit"

"Inside rhe bathroom was a north American plug in. For 110v and 220v. Room cleaning is excellent. Wow. Shower was spotless when i came back. Amazing. Great location to union street bars. 1.2-2km walk to some amazing pubs. Parking is free if you get a spot arrive early dont move. Friday noon was lined up so i stayed put and walked instead. Breakfast is 5 stars. Coffee cappacino full english breakfasts. Everything u could want included in my price for the night."
