「This was the quintessential country inn that you would expect to see in Maine! Front desk staff were friendly, helpful. The rooms were great. They had a larger suite in the hotel and then also had cabins out back. Outside of the breakfast area (which breakfast was great each day), they had a nice patio area with an electric start fire pit and a nice playground for the kiddos. 「The Yabkee Clipper is the perfect, affordable, convenient Lu located place to stay while you take in the beauty of Maine. The rooms are updated with comfy beds and pillows and nice, absorbent towels. Everything is ultra clean and the staff are so nice and responsive. We’ve stayed in much more expensive places while in the area and they have nothing on The Yankee Clipper. The area is quiet and safe as well. You’ll be so glad you gave it a try!」

「I unfortunately had a view of the rear parking lot. It didnt matter much because i felt safe enough to take a long walk around town before bedtime. I slept well on the comfy king bed. Very accessible to docks and town. Several restaurants nearby.」

「The room was very spacious and very, very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is older so a bit dated, but such a great value. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the view of the harbor was just beautiful! We highly recommend this property. 」
