Location was ok, the beach was close. Not many restaurants nearby within walking distance. The room was really nice and clean and the garden and the pool were great. We booked via hotels.com a room including breakfast, but at hotel they asked money for the breakfast. Owner of the place was not friendly or helpful. The staff was polite but a little bit helpless and not very good at customer service.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, modern und ansprechend eingerichtet. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft liegt an der Durchgangsstraße, dadurch ist es nicht ganz ruhig.

Lovely!

Nice, clean rooms. Lovely breakfast (recommend the omelette!) Heidi is very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to beach and good restaurants nearby.

Lovely stay, wonderful hosts and amazing service

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this guest house. From the time we were welcomed into the guest house until we left after the Easter holidays, the owner and her assistants were pleasant during our stay. The owner gave us maps and recommendations for places to visit around Durban, and we had a chance to spend time in the guest house quietly with no concerns and we loved the fact that the neighbourhood is quiet. It is also next to the beach and we took walks along the beach each morning. A nice touch when we were leaving was the take away break we received the night before our trip since we were leaving early in the morning (6 am). Thanks so much for the wonderful stay and we hope to be back again soon!

Idéalement situé entre Umhlanga et Durban pour un séjour de quelques jours. Accueil chaleureux, très bonnes indications de Heidi pour la visite de la région avec une documentation très utile. La chambre Desert Rose est très bien aménagée et spacieuse avec pour se relaxer, une belle piscine entourée du jardin. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse au bord de la piscine est varié avec une cuisine à la minute.

This is truly one of the best B@B we have ever stayed in. The place was beautiful and wonderfully kept. Stunning comfortable rooms, comfortable beds to die for. White linen on beds, roomy rooms and everything you needed in one place. Pool was so inviting and sunbeds to lie on what more could you want for a lovely weekend in Durban area. Taxis (very cheap) take you anywhere if you do not have a car or do not want to drive. Your can walk to the beach which is very long and sandy. Wish we had booked for longer. Thankyou Heidi and your lovely team.

Good guesthouse in a nice neighbourhood

My wife and I were there for 1 night. The hotel location is great, very close to the beach. The room was spacious and well equiped. The bed was quite hard though. Nice garden and pool. All staff members are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very nice.

Прекрасный отдых на юге Африки

Мы,пара из Москвы,провели здесь неделю.Очень приятный небольшой семейный отель.Расположен рядом с океаном.Огромный песчаный пляж.И хотя волны большие,возле берега купаться вполне безопасно. Хозяйка отеля очень гостеприимная женщина. Хороший завтрак.Чистый бассейн.Всё очень понравилось.

Friendly Guesthouse with great breakfast

This is a great guesthouse - owned and run by a lovely couple. The owners were really helpful in providing a map of the area and recommendations of local restaurants to eat at. The breakfast - which was included - was delicious and served on a patio next to a sparkling pool. The towels were grey and could do with replacing. Also thought it was a little strange not to have a door between the bathroom and kitchenette area (which was in an alcove between the bedroom and bathroom). Nonetheless - I would stay here again.

Great pool

Really enjoyed our stay here, owner and staff were very welcoming. Our room opened up to the pool and we definitely enjoyed that. We didn’t have a vehicle and not many restaurants within walking distance but the one we went to was good. Owner suggested removing expensive jewelry before wandering around various markets and we appreciated her advice. Would definitely stay there again
