The room was very hot and we could not change the temperature- possibly because we visited in the winter off-season. The staff were very kind and gave us a fan though. Other than that, our stay was lovely.

Aside from the hotel's small pool and very limited outside dining options in the immediate area, Hyundai Hotel is a great option for this area of Ulsan. Those who enjoy jogging or hiking should try nearby Myeongdeok Lake and Mount Yeompo.

HHI hilltop views.

Just a one night stay on tour of Korea. Amazing quality and value. Enjoyed "The Oven" coffee shop and bakery for breakfast after hiking to top of Yon-Po hill behind hotel.

I liked the room that was clean and comfortable. It is good to take a morning walk because there are many forest environments around.(I worked out at the reservoir and the Sipridae-gil)

The staff are welcoming, the rooms are clean. But I’ll highlight what I consider a negative experience. 1- The AC in room was turn off, the temperature never get below 25C and found difficult sleeping, when I reach to the staff they provided me a fan. ( helped a little ! ) 2- you are only permit to use the swimming pools, sona required additional payment. 3- breakfast closed at 9:30am. ( all hotels I been to closed at 10 ) 4- no room service after 10pm which is not convenient as all restaurants in surrounding area closed at 10pm too ). 5- WiFi is available but without password which make it less secure.

Welcome drink was good.

The welcome drink was Americano.(no change to the other menu, no ice) The cafe is the oven, 1st floor. open at 10am. Earlier morning coffee was imppossible.

The hotel is really good, but some things could be improved. For example, there is not a single chair in the lobby, never mind anything more comfortable. The hotel is also geared towards Korean guests - no map of Ulsan available with street names and the rest written in Latin alphabet. Also the restaurant stops serving Korean food at 8 pm, while Western dishes remain available until 11 pm. I have them at home as well.

치명적인 문제점은 아니지만 자잘하게 별로 였음 1. 체크인을 저녁 7시 넘어 했는데 배정받은 3층 방의 뷰는 옥상만 보임 2. 호텔스닷컴 골드 특전인 음료 서비스에 대한 안내가 따로 없어서 문의 했더니 누락 되었다고 예약내역을 보내달라고 함. 3. 들어가자 마자 호텔방 쓰레기통에 면봉이 하나 있었음. 완전히 비우지 않은듯 함 4. 그리고 방바닥에 머리카락도 하나 있었음 5. 아침에 옆방 아기 우는 소리가 그대로 들림
