Definitely stay here
I was not feeling well for our stay and the staff went beyond what they needed to to help. They brought extra tea, they got me panadol (a.k.a Advil) and checked up on me regularly to see if I was doing okay. The hotel was very nice and intimate. So lying around the whole time was not that bad as I was next to the private pool. Breakfast came each morning on time and there is plenty of places around to eat too. Close to a lot of cool things and highly recommend staying here!

Tropical nirvana
Wow! What a great place to call HOME! I’ve been to more than 40 countries and countless places, but this one just does it for me! The villa layout is just perfect for relaxation! It’s a little bit away (15-20 minutes walk) from central Ubud, but that’s exactly what makes it so special! I keep extending my stay — just cannot have enough of this place!👍

The villa and staff were really wonderful. It was secluded and really quiet but not too far from Ubud center. Really recommended.

Amazing Traditional Ubud Experience
3.5 star? More like 4 star! Best hotel we’ve stayed at our entire 4 months in Asia, maybe ever! Amazing private pool villa and value !! The owner was so helpful giving us travel advise, adding extra nights and adding in motorbike rental. The room was lovely and cozy.. very clean and spacious. Wonderful outdoor shower and soaking tub. Plus the private pool!!!! Just.. WOW. Breakfast was brought on time every morning and was delicious. The area was great and close to downtown Ubud and all its attractions. The only thing I’d change is stronger AC but they’re villas in the jungle so it wasn’t a huge dealbreaker plus it was cool enough. I’d stay again and again. Stay at “Grandma’s House”!

Beautiful and magical!
LOVED my stay at Rumah Dadong - Extremely comfy bed, huge bathtub and outdoor shower, lovely welcome and drinks and gorgeous hosts - thank you so much Erna & Yudi for making our stay fabulous! Breakfast were fantastic, and the location is gorgeous amongst the rice paddies. Yudi went out of his way to make our stay very special - we will return for sure! Thank you so much for everything!!!

Amazing staff, and a lovely, relaxing stay in Ubud
I stayed here with my partner, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay in Ubud at Rumah Dadong. Yudi and Erna are the loveliest couple and go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and enjoying your stay. A shout-out to the breakfast which was amazing and cooked to order every morning. This place was our amazing little sanctuary and we were very sad to leave it. Yudi also sat with us our first morning after breakfast and helped us plan a perfect touristy day full of activities and beautiful sites. I highly recommend this place to anyone, as it's a beautiful, private villa and is in a nice quiet part of Ubud.

Fantastic Ubud experience
We stayed in a two bedroom villa with private pool.Rumah Dadong (meaning "Grandma's House") is located in a small village not too far away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud(30minute walk/10min car). The villa had a Balinese theme with great facilities and very clean. Food was great - a special mention for the breakfast. - and a few near by restaurants in the village had great food as well. A special thanks to Yudi and his family who were extremely friendly, helpful, and made us feel totally welcome. Note: Villas are a short walk from the road through the rice fields - Yudi provided the muscle to carry the bags :)

Beautiful private villa amongst the rice paddies.
The villas were an amazing experience away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud and Bali without being too far away. The owner Yudi could not have been more pleasant and helpful organising tours and anything else we needed. The villas were a great set up, we stayed in the 2 bedroom villa with a private pool. The second bedroom was completely separate from the rest of the villa providing great privacy and we didn't see another guest staying at the villas (although were told there were others). Breakfast was simple but excellent, there are a few nice restaurants within walking disaynce if you don't want to have dinner at the villas. Overall it was a lovely few days and we were reluctant to leave. Would definately stay here again and recommend it to anyone seeking a small quiet peice of paradise to get away and relax.

Awesome service!
My boyfriend and I stayed at Rumah Dadong for 3 nights. We were totally blown away by the service and the villa! This was our first time in Bali and we honestly didn't plan much. Yudi (the owner) basically planned our trip for us, scheduling spa appointments, rafting trips, pretty much everything we wanted to do! He even brought us to a ceremony at the village temple which was a totally unique and awesome experience! The villa was very clean with new furniture and appliances, and the breakfast was great. Overall we had a great experience and hope to come back on our next trip over!

Private villa and private pool with outstanding service
My friend and I stayed at this private villa, which included a private pool, for 2 nights and we wish we stayed here our entire trip. The service was outstanding and everything we wanted to do while in Ubud/Bali was arranged for us by the hotel staff. We truly felt a part of the family! The staff communicated with us well before arrival so our airport transfer was taken care of for a very reasonable price considering the drive from the airport (about 1.5-2 hours). We enjoyed the quiet area of the villa, which was located between many rice fields. All meals were available and prepared by the hotel staff for a very reasonable price. All in all we will definitely be back to this Villa and be recommending this Bali gem to others.

Die Villen sind gemütlich und ruhig. Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich. Frühstück wird jeden morgen in das Wohnzimmer gebracht. Man kann einfach per WhatsApp mit den Angestellten Essenswünsche, Touren und Attraktionen besprechen. Pool, Bad, Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer sind sehr sauber. Zimmer wird zwei mal täglich gemacht. Würde sofort wieder kommen.

Ihana villa rauhallisella sijainnilla. Villa oli mukava, hyvän kokoinen ja siisti. Palvelu oli oikein ystävällistä ja apua sai mihin vain. Sijainti on hieman syrjässä, mutta läheltä löytyi kuitenkin mukavia ravintoloita ja isompikin kauppa oli ihan kävelyetäisyydellä. Ehdottomasti voisimme majoittua täällä uudelleen.

우붓을 느끼기에 최적화된 숙소입니다. 넓은 공간에 잘 관리된 풀까지.. 스탭들의 세심한 배려도 인상깊네요. 다만, 우붓 메인거리까지는 거리가 좀 있구요, 빌라에 벌레가 있는 것은 어쩔 수 없다고 생각합니다. 룸서비스 저렴하고 맛있구요, 주변에 있는 식당들도 나름대로 훌륭합니다.

We only stayed here for one night in August, but we were just fell in love w/ this beautiful place. most of all, their staffs (for example yudi and rendra) are really kind and nice. they were really committed to help us to enjoy our stay to its fullest. especially we enjoyed great breakfast served by rendra. just note this place is little bit difficult to reach by taxi because google map told us to go through not accessible road. be careful about it. in a word, just choose here! for sure I would choose here again next time I go to ubud. 이 숙소는 정말 좋아요! 너무 행복하게 지내다 왔습니다. 꼭 들러보시길 추천합니다. 특히 렌드라 진짜 친절해요ㅋㅋ 구글맵이 길을 좀 이상하게 알려주니 차라리 큰길쯤에 내리셔서 걸어가는 것도 좋을 것 같아요. by any chance if Erna reads this review, I read your email about overbooking possibility too late so that's why I could not reply. :)

Tout a été positif du début à la fin. Après de grosses galères pour avoir un chauffeur à la aéroport, l arrivée à la villa et l accueil exceptionnel qui nous a été fait ont été plus que positifs.yudi nous a accueilli et présent3 chaque pièces de la villa. Il nous a organisé des excursions sur mesures et conseillé sur les meilleurs restaurants du coin.la villa est situé au cœur d une rizière, dans un environnement calme et dépaysant.un énorme merci à yudi et son équipe pour toutes les petites attentions qui nous ont été apportés. ウブドの喧騒から離れて 田園の中で静かに過ごせました。 ヴィラの前までは車で行けません。 YudhやWayan.Kadeなどスタッフはとても良くしてくれました。 徒歩10分圏内に4軒ワルンがあります。

Super nette und ruhig gelegene Villa
Unser Aufenthalt war super und extrem entspannend. Die Villa liegt Ca. 10 min mit dem Auto vom Zentrum entfernt. Mit Roller alles erreichbar. Unser Host Yudi war sehr nett, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, hat alle Wünsche erfüllt und sehr gut alles organisiert. Wir hätten uns keinen besseren Platz in Ubud wünschen können. Top Service!

فيلا رأئعة بمنطقة جميلة .
أشكر السيد ارنا على حفاوته و حسن إستقباله فقد كان رائعا ، ما يعيب الفيلا - و هذا موجود بكل الفلل على ما أظن - كثرة الوزغ في داخل الفيلا بشكل عام كانت إقامتي بالفيلا مرضية لي و لعائلتي و لو عدت إلى نفس المنطقة مرة أخرى ستكون خياري الأول .

Best accommodation near Ubud - Villa + privat Pool
Top location and very nice and clean villa with privat pool, soft bed, everything you need for a relaxing holiday near Ubud. The landlords Erna & Yudi provided a kindly service for everything (best breakfast I had, rent a motorbike etc.) like to stay at home or with your family. I will come back to 'Rumah Dadong' hopefully soon - best accommodation to stay near Ubud.

Supreme hospitabilities with top-notch facilities
We were completely impressed with the impeccable hospitality from the hosts of Rumah Dadong, Yudi and Erna. Put aside the nice location (a surrounding of rice fields), well prepared meals, nice facilities (swimming pool, private garden) and etc., The hosts were really good at offering the guests a feel of home far away from home. In a sense Dadong is the least commercialized accommodation we have ever stayed around the world, yet it offers top-notch services and facilities for its guests. The peace of mind, homey feel and hospitabilies that Yudi and Erna and their staff/friends/families were so generous to have shared with us mark probably the most memoriable moments of our stay in Bali throughout this vacation. We will definitely recommend Rumah Dadong to everyone who are keen on knowing more about Bali and Balinese people as a visitor. And we will definitely go back Rumah Dadong next time when we are heading to this lovely island.
