We loved our stay here and didn't want to leave after two days. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location was very convenient to Ubud central and most of all, we loved the beautiful property and swimming in the pools. It was quiet, clean and lovely and I would recommend to anyone.
Upon arrival, the staff were welcoming and promptly assisted me to my room on the first level. However, the property did not have ramps, which made it difficult to manage luggage as we had to drag multiple heavy bags up and down small sets of stairs after traveling internationally for nine days.
The room itself was very disappointing. The ceilings showed visible mold, the bathroom was unclean with outdated fixtures, a peeling and damaged toilet seat, and a shower that appeared not to have been sanitized in some time. The room also had a strong, unpleasant odor, and the view overlooked a developing area scattered with tools, separated only by a short fence from what seemed to be an abandoned rice field. While the pool outside appeared nice, the overall condition of the facilities made it uninviting.
Due to these issues, I had to check out immediately and book last-minute accommodations in Canggu, which was inconvenient as most of my excursions were based in Ubud. This property is in urgent need of renovations, particularly updated bathroom fixtures, furniture, and improved maintenance, to provide guests with a more comfortable and hygienic stay.
Anini Raka is certainly value for money. Couldn’t get anything that cheap in Australia, that also includes breakfast. However, it’s a stretch to call it a resort or spa. There was no spa, and no morning yoga as advertised.
Staff friendly helpful, free shuttle to Ubud market or if possible request drop off Yoga Barn or where i want frop off. Rooms clean tidy, bottled water daily, kettle coffee/tea make facilities, breakfast great eggs bacon all included, our rooms over looked rice paddy one side, pool the other, showers lovely & hot.if u are on a budget,as not 5 stars, hotel was great, restaurants dwn the street, good prices...
Goe ontbijt, vriendelijke personeel, hygiënische en propere kamer, goed zwembad, locatie ideaal (weg van de drukt maar toch op wandel afstand van alles.
Close to supermarket, takes about 10 mins ride to go to ubud market, cheap price. Nice view to see some rice field, water flow is kind of low.
There are a couple of living ants on the bed in the first night, but not the second night.
The experience was ok but nothing special. Certainly safe and secure and not completely unhygienic. However the facilities are old, curtains were mouldy, paint peeling on walls, tv didn't work and towels looked and felt like cleaning rags - covered in stains.
My mattress was quite uncomfortable (hard) and was stained underneath (no mattress topper - just a thin, old, stained sheet between me and the mattress.
The breakfast was included and was ok...but 2 out of the 3 days I was there they didn't have the option I chose on the menu. But nice to have some sort of breakfast available.
The staff were nice enough.
For this price point though, there are a lot nicer options. I wouldn't choose this place again.
This hotel is a very comfortable and friendly hotel with a beautiful garden and rice terrace views. The staff are very attentive and caring. I sustained an injury in Ubud and the staff were very helpful in helping me whilst I got better. I look forward to staying there again.
Huge corner bath as deep as a pool. 2 showers. Food was good and great prices.2 lovely pools.with outdoor shower. Lots of 3 or 4 steps going to my room. I'm not fond of steps.rice paddy view on right hand side.very close too markets etc. Shuttle bus will take you and pick up. A small charge of course. But the resort is on a hill, not that fit.
But just fabulous needs a little paint on the walls my only concern
But an excellent stay and great price.
Sorry couldn't add more photos .but I do have more
The hotel is quite old but some room is renovating, my deluxe room is Na when I arrive but they upgrade me to a very very big room, but unfortunately the room is old, dark and not well maintain, bathroom smelley, ant hive in bathroom, lights spoil... But my friends room are OK, hopefully it will be better after reno.
Seems like it would haves been a great place in its day but like many places in Bali, no maintenance has been undertaken and now it is very grotty. Also the shuttle into Ubud only runs a few times a day which makes it not all that practical
Good air conditioning, friendly staff, good bed. Nice to have mosquito net. Views over the rice field were beautiful. Both pools were great! Would go again even though walking to the centre takes about half an hour.
Great value accommodation, very comfortable. The rooms are beautiful even had a large bath , Nice touches like fresh flowers, plenty of towels. 2 pools, very good onsite restaurant day spa services. Staff were amazing very helpful and friendly . I highly recommend this resort if you want luxury on a small budget.
