This was a great property with friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast. They only do hot breakfast during peak season, which we were there at. You eat family style and it was nice to talk to fellow travelers in the morning. Parking is easy and the location is convenient.

Admirals Inn is a historical home. We were on the second floor, accessed by stairs only. The home was an excellent base for exploring the Twillingate area. The breakfast both mornings were delicious. It was lovely talking to the other guests at breakfast. The lady serving breakfast the first morning advised us to dress very warmly, since we were going on an Iceberg tour.

Wonderful cozy place in the heart of town, and a lovely clean property. Jennifer was sweet enough to make us breakfast every morning. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the room size was a little too small — there wasn’t even a proper place to open a suitcase comfortably.

We used in off season so no breakfast BUT room was discounted. It was clean, quiet, warm - everything we wanted. This is our second time here and it will not be our last. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful. I have recommended this place to others already and will continue to do so.

It was advertised as a Bed and Breakfast however no breakfast was provided because the booking was "outside the standard vacation period" - we were so advised after the booking was made when we spoke to the owner to have the booking extended by one day. Otherwise the accommodation was well appointed.

Property is clean and well-maintained. However, the room we were in was very noisy. The dining room, kitchen and common areas were just on the other side of the door/wall, and the kitchen clattering and loud conversations started at 6:30am. Every time the outer door closed the pressure differential caused our room door to bang, and you could hear every noise our upstairs neighbours made. If you’re an early-riser, heavy-sleeper, or can ignore loud noises, it’s a nice place to stay. Otherwise, take ear plugs.

I'm sure others have a better experience at this place. My visit started off entering my room, getting a chill like someone was walking over my grave and took a while shivering before it went away. I had difficulty sleeping as I felt there was someone/something in the room with me. I was up early both days I stayed there, and actually left at 6 am on May 21 - still tired, unrested, and yawning all the way to Rocky Harbour. This is probably just a me thing - but everything was fine otherwise, the one breakfast I was able to enjoy was very good. The owner has a great set up and operation in place.
