「Very nice hotel with dutch design. The manager, Paul, is very polite and helpful. Room is clean and tidy. Surroundings are quiet. The breakfast is excellent with reasonable price and excellent services. The whole atmosphere is relaxing, elegant and high-class.」

「Wir haben eine schöne Zeit in der Residence Lichtenvoorde verbracht. Die Anlage ist ruhig und hat eigentlich alles was man braucht an Infrastruktur. Es ist nur schade, dass der Park nicht groß genug ist für einen Brötchenservice oder ein Restaurant mit Frühstücksangebot. Allerdings war das Besteck bei Ankunft nicht sauber und man sollte die Silikonfugen im Bad mal erneuern. Das ist ein Aufwand von 1-2 Stunden und alle paar Jahre einfach notwendig. 」

「Nice location, only 5 min walk from Hengelo station. The room is spacious and the bathroom is also quite big with a bathtub. The choice of the breakfast is not too much but the price is ok (around 14-15 EUR), comparing to other hotels. There are also plenty of free snacks, tea and coffee bags provided in the room.」
