"Bar was lacking a good sellection of malt whisky and they dont have the correct glasses for each drink. No dedicated bar person and the bar closed at 22.30pm"

"Great welcome and service from all the staff. I had a small single room and it was just perfect and great value for money. Dinner and were excellent but portions are large so order carefully if you want to have dessert. Fabulous find - I’ll be back"

"Stayed here a round 6 months ago with work and thought it was okay, came back again this time and won’t return. Maybe just a bad room I got this time but in a sad state. Peeling wall paper, holes in walls, exposed screws and a dumping corner of old furniture. Paper thin curtains didn’t keep the light out. Threadbare carpets. Staff all friendly and helpful and breakfast fresh with a good continental selection"

"Our Estate Superior room had a fantastic view of the golf course. Room was so spacious and so comfortable. The grounds are so beautiful for a morning walk after a fresh cooked breakfast. Staff are so welcoming. Look forward to returning again."

"Staff and restaurant very good, especially smoked haddock for breakfast. Dinner menus but overpriced. My double standard room was far too small ( not for two people) lucky I was in my own. Furnishing very poor and cramped. Shower room even smaller and no shelf for soap / shampoo. Disappointed really."
