"We think there was a misunderstanding when we booked through Expedia. We thought the place where we would be staying was located inside the Poland Spring Resort, but upon arrival we realized we were staying in a motel right by the road instead, not in the main resort area. We were not very happy about this, although we did not want to raise any complaints with the lady at the reception, who was very kind and tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible, and it was not her fault. The place itself was clean, but I probably would not have made this reservation if I had known exactly where we would be staying…"

"The check-in staff was very pleasant and welcoming. However, the check-out experience was not as good. I tried to have a conversation about my concerns, but the staff member was dismissive and acted like my concerns were not her problem. On a positive note, Nicole at the bar was wonderful. She was friendly, smiling, and very inviting, which made my experience better. Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable, but because of the customer service during check-out, I would probably not stay there again."

"The front desk staff were super attentive and friendly. The room was very clean. I didn’t visit the breakfast myself, but my family member brought fruit back to the room for me that was all fresh. I stayed on a floor that the ice machine was broken but I was able to travel to another floor to get ice. "
