"The resort itself is amazing. The property is very beautiful, manicured lawns and gardens and the restaurant, bar and rooms are well appointed and very clean. The food and drinks are on the expensive side but very good and the breakfast buffet was amazing. Staff at the restaurants and pool/bar were beyond friendly and amazing. Loved them! The gentleman at check-in though did not provide much of a warm welcome. We had just driven from Lima and had an encounter with corrupt cops on the way...

The 2nd room had no towels. We asked for them and they said they would bring them which they didn’t. Not worth what we booked this for in Expedia. They did move us to another room the next day but Expedia should compensate us for this stay."

The gentleman at check-in though did not provide much of a warm welcome. We had just driven from Lima and had an encounter with corrupt cops on the way there, so arrived to the resort a bit shaken up, and the person checking us in went straight into fees and costs without even asking asking us how we were doing, how were our travels etc.. not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. Otherwise everything was great."
