"We had a nice stay at The Pheasant. The staff were helpful, and breakfast was good with lots of choice. The pub is in a beautiful setting, about 5m drive from Kirkby Lonsdale. The room was a good size, and had a comfy bed, although was a bit run down, especially the bathroom, which had peeling plaster, damp and cracks. Toiletries were included and good quality."

"Quaint, small and friendly"

"What a delightful cosy rooms with showerrooms. Comfortable beds, with well insulation blinds/ curtain for the strong summer sun. Room was copl at night, and good bathroom facilities. We were going to be late, and staff rang to check on our progress. Staff waited until we arrived and showed us our rooms. Breakfast was included but the choice and want we were entitled too was a not clear. Cooked breakfast meals very delicious and tasty."

"The accommodation was OK considering the room was above the karaoke bar and facing the street where loads of people were drinking loudly. Minor problems included an amply shower gel dispenser in the shower."
