Terrible front desk staff, worst experience I’ve had at a hotel and i spend 100+ days a year in a hotel. Waited for 30 mins for desk staff, wife had to go find them in the break room. Then told us we couldn’t check in till 3. Once we checked in, found that the pool was out of service, but no updates on their website. Booked this hotel due to their being a pool for the kids. We came down the next morning to ask a question, and the lady said “ohh, you’re still here”. Like where would we have gone over night. The next day i asked the same lady at the desk if they sold alcohol, and was told no that i can go to Walmart. No kidding, that wasn’t the question. Then proceed to tell me she doesn’t approve of people drinking alcohol as it changes them. Once again, didn’t ask your opinion, just a yes or no would have worked. 100% will not stay at this hotel again and won’t recommend. Would rather stay at a motel 6.

The room was not ready when wr got there for a 3 pm checkin. The front desk receptionist was rude and condescending. When we came back hours later. We checked into our room. But left to have dinner. I told her the bathroom floor was dirty and not been cleaned. I asked her if she had a broom and a dustpan. She said she was not sure if they had one. Then she proceeded to try and give us room keys for a different room. I said we dont need a different room. The floor just needs cleaned. We left and came back. She said she needed to come see the room to see the condition of the bathroom so she could take a picture to send to the manager. She gave me the broom and dustpan. We were unable to get into the room. She changed the keys earlier...and pretended she didnt.she left and went downstairs. I went downstairs after waiting 10 minutes for her to return with the correct keys. She was at the desk and asked me what i needed. Then asked if i broight fown the broom and dust pan. I asked her how that would be possible if she had locked us out.At this point i felt as though she was causing issues on purpose. The guy gave me new room keys. And i went to sweep. I brought down the dustoan filled wjth dirt to show the worker. I am requesting that a discount be given or comped. My son was very upset and so was i. This should have been a good rxperexperience. If that worker is unhappy with her job she needs to change jobs. Not make it difficult for people trying to have a vacation.

I’m a single mom with 2 kids. I planned to stay for here for the pool. Before I checked in we asked if the pool was working and was told yes. I laid my kids down for a 2 hour nap and we got to check the pool. When we did there was an out of order sign on it. Highly disappointed.

Very clean, polite staff, breakfast was good. Lost my oldest daughter that week that we stayed there. Very caring desk help. Hot chocolate was delicious too. Thank you so much.

Definitely not a Holiday Inn Express experience we are used to. First room assigned (3rd floor) had a mildew/moldy smell and when going to pull out the pull out couch discovered the entire way across under cushions was moldy. Asked for another room and was assigned another moldy/mildew smelling room, but did not find any mold, so for our short stay we dealt with it. However, the additional bedding for the hide-a-bed had cookie/chocolate smeared on the comforter and clearly hadn’t been replaced from the last guest. We asked for new linens. Bathroom door did not latch because the door jam’s latch plate had been placed with cardboard and screws as a temporary fix and kept falling off when you open/shut the door. Breakfast was good, seating was hard to come by. Lobby/hallways didn’t smell mildewy, so must just be the rooms. Lots of “updating” was attempted but the patches of different shades of blue/ rusty shelving/loose bathroom tiles make it evident it was neglected until recently. Pool was cold, the pool room windows are opened every time we walked by; probably to ventilate as it was way over chlorinated. Great location, but would not stay here again even if in the $75/night range. The hot cocoa and cookies at front desk were a nice touch.

When I got to the hotel Sunday night it was raining and I had to park at the end of the building. There is a door there but the signs said to enter front door so I has to walk around front in the rain.

Hotel was not busy yet they wouldnt consider an early checkin so it made our first night hectic due to dinner plans. The room was clean but located near the pool entranse so we could smell the chlorine in the hall. The pool did not look like simething that i wanted to get into so we didnt use the amenities. Breakfast was high carbs and didnt have much that i could eat. What happened to plain scrambled eggs and bacon? I would not stay in this hotel again. Im not sure that id stay in another Holiday Inn. In my experience, its no longer a high quality hotel.

our room was not cleaned properly. Counter tops still had coffee rings from our cups both nights. Looked like the bathroom floor was not washed. Our son had a bug bite on his side (wondering if from a bed bug ) since he had a long sleeve shirt on all day except when he went to bed. Front desk was courteous and helpful.

They did not keep the food stocked for breakfast. When something was empty they did not restocked. So if you weren’t there early they wad not much of a hot food options. They heat in our first room wad not working. They did give use another room. Also the elevator was not working. But we were only on the second floor. .

I have stayed here a couple times before and was looking forward to it again. When we arrived the elevator was out of service (from a day before) and we were told we are on the third floor. We had lots of luggage and were not carrying it up. The lady working around 7 PM Thursday basically didn’t care and said whatever “she will cancel without penalty”. Past experience had been very good. Found a different hotel chain in the area and loved it. Found a new home when in Jenks.
