The guy at the front desk in the evening was awesome: helpful and friendly. The decor was among the best I’ve seen in a large hotel ever. Stayed here for three nights with no issues. The location was great, too. The streetcar is a 3 min walk away, and it’s entirely free (at least for the time being).

Rooms were clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated. The staff was always friendly and willing to help. Breakfast options were good and coffee at Poindexter was amazing. No coffee pot in room, but they did have a water kettle for instant coffee or tea. The view from our room was spectacular. The bar on the roof was very good and words can't describe the view up there at sunset. One con was the parking. I didn't realize it was valet only and the charge was $34 a night. There is a cheaper parking lot a block down the street, but not convenient.
