The lobby looked very nice, but the rooms felt outdated, more like a 70’s style, which was a bit disappointing. However, the location was convenient — close to fun places like the Owl Café and a matcha course.

The hotel is 15min walk from the main Nagoya JR station (restaurants, department stores etc).

Its a bit of a tourist trap, and doesnt offer.much for the high prices they charge. Rooms are neat but again, somewhat dsted, and not much space.

A great stay in Takayama and super close to train station. Lovely extra facilities during your stay and all the shops and restaurants are conveniently close :)

Hotel Vista Nagoya was a wonderful and memorable part of our trip in Japan. The concierge staff was very accommodating about receiving our luggage ahead of our arrival, and even put it in our rooms upon check in day. They were also super helpful in sending out our souvenirs to the airport, so we could travel worry free. The best part of the day was the breakfast service, provided by the wonderful breakfast crew. Since we wake up at 6:30 during this trip, the breakfast service was a game changer in our daily travels, since almost nothing is open that early. They served vegetables, salad, daily changing protein options and sides, rice/Unagi rice, soups and the best French toast you'll have so far! I would go back to Nagoya just to stay here again.
