Loved the extra amenities, e.g. bottled water, K-cup coffee maker. The decorating, the view, the friendliness of the staff were A . The included breakfast was delicious and appreciated.
We had a wonderful one night stay. The room was beautiful with an amazing view. When we arrived at 3:00 o’clock our room wasn’t ready. Everything else was marvelous.
We drove hours to find out they gave away our room. They blamed it on Expedia. They told us there was a great B and B we could go to nearby…it was no where near the lake. It was on a busy, noisy street . They did not provide a cooked breakfast and only took cash. We did not stay. We drove home in the middle of the night…
The Inn @ TF is an excellent property and we will certainly return. Access to hiking trails leading to the Falls were steps away from our Lakeview room. And the room was amazing — big, comfy and pristine. Breakfast and coffee in the main dining area was hot and regularly refreshed. The staff were super friendly and gave us excellent local fare ideas (shoutout to Atlas Bowl). On a cold early spring few days, the Inn made for a perfect getaway.
The Inn is actually several properties on one site. The elegant Victorian is front and center and where the complimentary breakfast is served and in season, a full service restaurant. We stayed in the Lakeview where 15 rooms on three floors all have balconies that face the lake.
All the buildings are within a short walk of the famous Taughannock Falls and Park
Beautiful property with welcoming staff. Our room was spacious and nicely appointed with a balcony overlooking the lake. The hiking trails to the falls were just steps from our room. I would definitely recommend The Inn to others traveling in the area.

Our stay was great at the Inn, we picked the location for its close proximity for hiking and it was a short easy walk to the falls from our room building. Staff was super nice and helpful for our late check in and it was a close drive to restaurants or had a delivery option to our room. Our room was clean, beautiful view of the water and cozy feeling. We would definitely stay again.
We had a great time. Everything was clean and easy access. Sarah was amazing and stayed longer to check us in as we ran later than expected. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.
The main building is 150 years old and is absolutely beautifully renovated. There is nothing run down feeling in this place and the old world charm is all there.
The view across the lake is enough to make your stay enchanting, but there is also the Taughannock Falls which is spectacular and only a 15 minute walk out the door of the inn.
The restaurant was closed because we went in the offseason but they served a scrumptious continental breakfast and the staff was cheerful and helpful.
Wonderful room with a great view of the lake (when there was no fog).
This was a visit during the off season and it was still fantastic.
Definitely want to return and see the area during the spring and enjoy the lake!
It was just beautiful. The rooms were clean and extremely comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful. Lots of outdoor activities as well as great restaurants and wineries within a short drive.
I love that this is a historic property, lakefront views, and walking distance to the falls (and to the lake!). The staff were so nice, the rooms well designed. We plan on returning!
