Friendly staff, good service and clean rooms. The hotel location is great - close to the beach (where water excursions can easily be booked), close to food eateries and close to a big supermarket. We really enjoyed our time in Mauritius and are grateful for the people at Residence Potosi 😊

Good value and great location

Good value for money and location great about 2 minutes walk from Trou Aux Biches public beach. Very Clean and functional. You need to provide your own dishwashing liquid, kitchen towels and even own toilet paper once the 2 we were supply with were finished. Not really a hassle considering the good value. WiFi very slow.

Faulty lift spoils the stay

Lift wasn’t working for 3 days of our stay. The bathroom sink was not cleaned as is was mouldy. Reasonable location as you can walk to the beach.

Great location - Average apartment

Great location, kind of new style but there was a lot of things missing from the kichenette. For example, there was an induction hob and only one pan (nothing else) that is not even compatible with the hob...(not suitable for induction hobs) We had to buy a few things to be able to at least wash the plates or cutleries. There were some bugs here and there from time to time. Apart from this it was OK. Average apartment. The pool was nice and clean though.

Not happy. Dirty, no view. Lack of equipment.

They dont clean the room during the stay or even change towels (only when asking explicitly they bring it 6-7 hours later). The appartment says there is a fully equipped kitchen, but there was no pan at all and also no dish towel, soap or sponge The water kettle plug didnt go in the wall, they had to call the electrician to change the plug first (seriously?!). I asked for a quiet room. They said I have the quiet room. Well, the room was right above the restaurant and at the noisy main road where the bus stops and starts. The pictures let you think you have a view on the ocean, however you only see literally a square meter size of the ocean. The floor is so dirty, when walking once through the room with white socks, they turn black. There is no shampoo, only a soap for hand washing. The only things that worked well was the AC, the hot shower and the wifi. And the location was good.

Le seul centre d intérêt de potosi a été la situation géographique puisque juste devant la plage Nous ne reviendrons pas à potosi: hygiène déplorable, des draps aux mesures non adaptées, un mini frigo pour ranger deux bouteilles et 6 canettes avec impossibilité de provisionner sur plusieurs jours, l entretien déplorable ( nous avons hésité à acheter un balai) nous avons dû acheter un nécessaire pour l entretien des sanitaires, des poignées de porte qui vous restent dans la main, une climatisation qui fuit et inonde le matelas et l oreiller d’une petite chambre ( jamais le matelas n a été sorti de la chambre et nous avons du le mettre sur le flanc), pas d internet ni wifi malgré nos incessantes demandes auprès de l accueil lorsque l hôtesse était présente, mais qui n a Jamais pris en considération nos attentes Seul un monsieur «  homme à tout faire » a tenté de nous trouver comme il pouvait des solutions avec le peu de moyens qu il avait et s est désolé pour nous de ce que nous traversions . Dommage. Cordialement

Dommage car emplacement au top

Vaisselle quasiment inexistante, donc difficile de se préparer à manger ou juste un apéro car il n'y avait même pas deux verres identiques, et pour petit déjeuner un bol et une tasse. Piscine qui est surtout un abreuvoir pour les pigeons. Le lit est confortable et l'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal. Mais on sent que ce n'est pas entretenu. Et la vue sur l'océan n'existe que pour les appartements en haut étage. Au premier pas de vue. C'est dommage.
