Very good stay. 4.8/5 stars. Would highly highly recommend. You will not get a better stay anywhere else at this price. The hotel is actually an enormous apartment with many rooms within, and common facilities. Everything is very clean, regularly maintained, and the landlords clearly care about the quality. They do an excellent job keeping everything in order, and are helpful. Only reason it is not 5/5 is minor inconveniences with the building, not because of the hotel accommodations. E.g., door into building can be hard to open, lights do not turn on automatically in the halls (so at night it is PITCH black. You need a phone or flashlight). Again, not the fault of the landlords, but worth considering if you are an anxious traveler. Overall, great work. Would stay again.

Once you get past the unusual warehouse entrance and steel cage elevator, this hotel was a nice place to stay for a night. The room and shared bathrooms were clean and the property was quiet.

Very accessible close to downtown! Expedia and host said A/C rooms? Absolutely NO Aircondition! 90-95F! Brutal, a little fan helped some but ridiculous to sell this rooms in June-August for that price! A total Rip off!

Why is this place still in business, we spent most of the night awake killing bed bugs and if that wasn’t bad enough you had to put up with the stench of cigarette smoke. Definitely never staying again and will never recommend

Eccentric but charming

Such a charming place. Yes its old and a little eccentric but that adds to the stay. Lift is awesome even if a little scary. No aircon in our room and it was over 30c but there was a fan which really helped

How can u like loosing your money. Then be told your booking is not there. Told to leave Proporty. Then he found the booking as I refused to leave. So I lost one nights money. What are you going to do about that. ?????? Kind regards.

This is not a hotel but a private appartement in the 3rd floor of a building, close to the train station, with 3 public bathrooms and 6-7 rooms! Main key for entrance to the building not working propperly, so you hope- after fidling around for a couple of minutes, not to have spend the night outside! Expedia should not market it as a hotel and charge hotel prices for it!!!!!

Struttura valida e prezzo adeguato, posizione strategica in stabile storico e personale disponibile per organizzare il (molto veloce) check-in. Pulizia superficiale ottima, ma in generale poca cura dei dettagli (da rivedere i filtri dei rubinetti ad esempio). Camera ampia e letto comodo. Nel complesso, buon soggiorno. Lo consiglio ai non pretenziosi.

Il soggiorno è purtroppo cominciato male. Giunti a Trieste il responsabile ci ha contattato per avvisarci che la camera era pronta. Ho chiesto al proprietario del parcheggio e mi ha detto che una volta giunto in albergo mi avrebbe indicato dove parcheggiare l'auto, senza avvisarmi che la sua struttura era in zona a traffico limitato. Giungendo dalla Slovenia purtroppo i cartelli di avviso della ZTL risultavano mal posti e completamente invisibili quindi ho preso una multa rilevante che ha inficiato il risparmio fatto scegliendo un affittacamere con bagno in comune invece di un albergo di livello superiore.
