Extremely professional staff. Hotel was quite cozy and tucked away off the beaten path. Awesome to take a walk on the grounds and enjoy all they have to offer. They are pet friendly and you can even ask to take their dog Roscoe for a walk. Dinner and Breakfast were superb and the staff attends to your every need. I had a ground floor room that I could walk out onto the 400 acres of property and just get in touch with nature and enjoy my stay. Highly recommend 5 stars and would give more if I...

Front desk, people were awesome. They gave me an upgrade because of all the extra things. I needed to bring into my room.
It was nice to stay outside of the big city of montreal before I arrived. The next morning.

Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Stunning view of the lake from our room and from the outdoor terrace. Beautiful and well-maintained grounds. Exceptional breakfast with fresh breads and muffins from the local bakery. Would 100% stay there again!

After looking for a hotel to stay for one night on route to Quebec, we found what looked to be something a little different from the usual corporate hotel chains. L'Abbaye D'Oka was exactly that. Away from freeways, airports, etc., and just a short drive from Montreal, this hotel is set in beautiful grounds with lots of walking trails to enjoy if you have the time. As an old monastery, it has been thoughtfully renovated. The staff were delightful and we would have loved to stay longer.

Certainly the best independent motel I've visited in a long time. I arrived very late and had no phone service, but it didn't take long for the manager to unlock the office door and check me in. He was very friendly and spoke flawless English, and made me feel very welcome immediately.
The room (10) was clean, with a new bed with a pillow top mattress. The TV and fridge worked well, although it's time to defrost the freezer. The very retro bathroom was small but functional, and the amazing...
