「We began our stay on the outdoor terrace while watching the sunset over the lake and sipping Franciacorta. The staff was very helpful and attentive and helped us with details for a ferry trip to Monte Isola and a visit to a winery. Breakfast was delicious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the views were breathtaking. Internet access was great. 「Unfortunately I lost my driving license in the UK on the way over to Italy so couldn't hire a car. Luckily I had friends who transported me to and from the hotel as required. There is no easy access to public transport and it is remote from shops too. To my surprise, I found out this hotel is one also used by couples seeking privacy, if you know what I mean. I didn't witness anything myself so not a problem for solo travellers. It was clean and staff were very friendly 」
