This place was so so. The bed was not comfortable and the bathroom door in room 201 is the wrong size for the door frame causing the bathroom door to not lock and close properly Breakfast had very few options. Not that great. Staff was friendly and helpful. This building definitely needs some upgrading inside but keep in mind you get what you pay for. The pool and hot tub appeared to be clean but had a REALLY SEVERE chlorine smell in the pool area. Would we stay here again? Possibly. We would be interested in looking into other hotels before choosing this one. I’d rate this stay 3.0 out of 5.

The property felt dated. Within the room, the towels were not clean, several were stained, there was hair in the shower, as well as rust on the ceiling above the shower. Will not stay in this hotel again, due to the cleanliness and several other hotel and resort options available in the same vicinity.

We stayed here years ago when it was the AmericInn. It was much better then. The pool area smelled awful- and needed a really good cleaning. Our room just smelled old. We had a handicap room and not sure why- we chose a king bed but that was it when we booked. The breakfast was good and the 24/7 coffee bar was great. It was right next to putt putt and go carts- and walkable to the red mesa grille.

We liked our room. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The whirlpool was clean and worked well. We liked the area. The breakfast was a bit sparse. Bananas and apples were available the first day, but the bananas were not ripe. The next day there were no bananas. If you are going to have waffles, you should at least have some fruit to go on it. The waffle batter also ran out.

My family had a comfortable stay for a week in early July. The property is well maintained and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. This is the second time they have stayed at Blossom and will definitely return. Would highly recommend.

I enjoyed my stay. Shout out to Margie who acts as hostess during the breakfast buffet. She is wonderful, interacts with all guests, provides local color and suggestions for the surrounding area. I would make her employee of the year!

Excellent staff, clean property! Comfy beds and good water pressure. Continental breakfast with waffles, fruit, bagels, yogurt, bread assortment. We especially loved the traverse city cherry coffee 24/7 in the lobby. Will return just for that! Great indoor pool, across the street from the beach.

Everything was good. Breakfast was simple but met our needs. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Pool temperature was good although it was very hot in the pool area if you were just going to be sitting there. There was a funny smell in the pool room. We would stay here again.

It’s an older property that has been completely renovated and very clean and modernized with a lot of attention to even the smallest details. If you’re looking for a resort property, this is not it.
